New Endurance Run info (maybe coming soon?)

Just saw streaming video working on @ andymccurdy's screen. Gonna be some happy endurance run fans pretty soon.

Hahaha I posted something like this at the same time as you, which probably means I've been waiting for news like this for a while now.

Man I would really like a new Endurance Run, I don't care what game it is as long as it is somewhat entertaining to watch

Maybe it's the Endurance Run: Remix. I hope they pitched the characters voices differently for hilarity. 

Well since new game releases are going to get quite low from now on, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a new ER. Maybe even the return of TANG. Who knows?

 I think all he's saying is that you'll be able to skip around in videos, even if that part of the video hasn't been downloaded yet (Something that would be useful when searching through super-long endurance run videos).

People have been suggesting a lot of silly games for Endurance Runs. Shouldn't the game be pretty long and not neccesarly a game most people have played or will play through? Have any games come out with those qualities?

i really hope there's a new endurance run...but wouldn't they hype it up more than this?

No game is fit for another Endurance Run, except maybe Persona 5.

Being able to skip around videos would be great.  There were a few times where I was forced to stop watching an hour long episode mid way, and it sucked having to wait so that I could continue from somewhere around 40 minutes in.

Might be Fallout 3... but it's kinda not obscure enough. Everybody played that...
 
There is a lot of love going around for Fallout 3 in the Giantbomb Offices. Might be a likely choice.

would love a new Endurance run but they would have to choice a really long game so where talking 65-X hours. I hope jeff and Vinny do it again

Misread. No new endurance run unfortunately.  Only meant that we're working on a video player that allows for STREAMING video rather than the progressive download format we use now. While everyone will enjoy it, it will help out significantly for endurance run fans because those videos are so long.

None of those games are juvenile enough to be worth watching. Also putting up the whole game as a video this shortly after it came out would be kind of dickish.

I honestly don't think we'll be seeing a new endurance run until closer to this years second quarter.  Think about it, trying to balance an endurance run with the flood of Q1 games, Pax East, and GDC coming up in the spring would be quite the challenge.  The site probably won't be hurting for daily content anytime soon, and the doods probably want to make sure that they pick the right game for the next endurance run, it is a very prestigious position to be in for a game after all.

Aw, I was kind of hoping for that P4 review.

Its probably for the best. At this point I'm looking foward to another endurance run as much as Batman Arkham Asylum 2. While the originals were great, I believe it was the originality that made them so awesome. One day a new ER shall come but lets not rush it.

Even though the actual news was kind of disappointing that is still completely awesome.
