New Endurance Run should be Star Wars: The Old Republic.

How awesome would that be to see a Jeff and Vinny team try and out level a Brad and Ryan team. It would take a long time but it's the Endurance Run! It would be so great! Please please please!

Not at all great. I mean, I think it'd be very interesting to see the team play an MMO, but an endurance run of an MMO sounds dull. There's only so many fetch quests a man can watch every day before it wears on him.

MMORPG Endurance run sounds boring as hell...
 
They need to do a game that has an ending, even if it takes 150 episodes to reach it.

This. It would get real old real fast. Also, it would be the longest ER they've ever done (we're talking hundreds of hours vs the dozens from Persona) and take up far too much time. Plus, Jeff has no interest in this game and neither do the others really.

Watching someone grind up in an MMO is probably the only thing more boring than doing it yourself.

MMO's are borderline tedious to play at times. Watching someone else play it would be terrible.

From all indications, this game isn't going to be all that great, nor funny and ridiculous like DP. Therefore, Endurance Run: SWOR = Bad idea.

Just do a beta endurance run like they did for Star trek Online. That way they have a built in stop point.

No.  First of all, whatever they choose should be something they themselves want to play fully.  I haven't got much faith that either Jeff or Ryan are looking forward to this game.  Second of all, an Endurance Run needs an ending and MMOs don't have those.  Finally, no ER should be slaved to the whims of other online players.  MMOs involve other people and, let's face it, people can be dicks especially when online.

That's the dumbest idea I've heard in a long time. It's funnier when they do stuff like they did with The Matrix Online for a game that's shutting down.

Beta ER would be neat but if they are going to do a full length ER of an MMO it should be something that is less mainstream. Im thinking a Korean FTP would make for more laughs. 

You can't endurance run an MMO, only when its dying.

I thoroughly enjoyed set phasers for fun, mostly because of all the banter. But I get the feeling that the staff doesn't really care about Star Wars or this game.

People need to stop asking for a new ER.

I would rather instead of a endurance run just do multiple quicklooks like they did for the Star Trek Beta. 
 
Also stop asking for endurance runs.

The more people ask for Endurance Runs the less likely they are to do them.

Maybe something like  not like to this or set phasers to fun but not a whole endurance run. 

I don't want an endurance run of a bad WoW clone. (that's what I took away from an hour of footage on Justin.tv)

Unless it's a dying MMO like Matrix Online, the idea of an endurance run of an MMO just sounds too boring. That plus threads and people suggesting games for endurance runs is what causes them to not do them. They've stated this before on one of the Bomcasts.

Every time some one makes a thread about a new ER they push it back a year. Right now it's ready to start around year 38XX

You can never "finish" an MMO.  The only place you can ever get to, is just having the best stuff in a current version of the build.  So, "Yes", they could do an Endurance Run of the KOTOR MMO, but the Endurance Run would last probably 6+ years, or at least how many years EA  is going to flush money down the toilet, until the damned thing finally dies.  Jeff & Vinny can be fairly committed, when they want to be, but I think around the 3 year mark (when the MMO goes free to play, in some desperate bid to attract people), that they would give it up.

I'd rather watch paint dry then watch some guys play a fucking MMO.

It might be cool for them to do some special coverage of it, i.e. more than just one QL but not an all the way ER.

Hey, it's been awhile since this thread has popped up- also NO.

An Endurance Run of an MMO would be awful. Although, I guess they did do that Matrix Online thing, so who knows.
