New Pokemon look horrible!!! What do you think?

I just finished seeing all the new Pokemon and all I have to say is... What the hell did I just see?! They all look so stupid and I can't even look at them. What the hell happened with the people who make Pokemon? Did they tell a kid to draw monsters and give it to them? Seriously. I want to pull my eyes out after what I just saw. I don't even know if I want this game anymore. These new Pokemon are making me want to punch some creativity in the creators. I'm going to stop complaining now. Here's the link. They're.... 
They're a lot more hit and miss than ever before. Designs started falling on the wayside about Diamon/Pearl (not that Luvdisc in Ruby/Sapphire was a winner), but a lot of these ones are rubbing me in ways that I'm not sure how to react to.

I don't see a problem...they look like Pokemon. All the Pokemon past generation 1 have looked overly abstract to me. They look fine to me though...except for 'Warubiaru'...his nose looks like a penis.

There's a Pokemon named Gear. That is a gear. They've just given up at this point.

I haven't liked any of the new ones since Gen 2.

They've been getting worse and worse, generation after generation...

Many of them seem fine to me, sure, there's a lot more scales and armors and accessories on the final form of the characters instead of the nice simplicity of the original, but I just attribute the fault to the youth of today. Those damn kids with their lady gagas and justin biebers are ruining pokemon!

I mean. I loved all the Pokemon... until now. All of them look the same. When they evolve... they're just bigger or have another head or something. They make me want to shoot myself.

well they've already done almost anything u could think of also they have to go in the anime so they cant just  do a bunch of bad ass pokemon

After 500 Pokemans, you simply start running out of ideas, and start looking around at random objects to somehow turn into Pokemans. As I've said so many times before, I'm waiting for the Eraser and Pencil Pokemans. 
 
But yes, you're correct, they're terrible. Pokeman needs to be taken out and shot, or at least completely revamped.

I feel like since we've grown older our interests have changed. And the younger children of our time probably love the bad color choices and odd shapes depicting such crappy pocket monsters >:( utterly tre' horriblea'

Some of them are alright. That Pokemon Zoroark, #571, looks pretty cool, Wargle, #628 is cool and that dragon Ononokusu, #612 is pretty cool too. But look at the legendarys! From #638 on, they look fucking stupid! Wth are those things?!? And where are the real Pokemon!?!

I'm perfectly fine with these new Pokemans. I grew up playing Red, and am still a fan today. The only Pokemans I really had a problem with are the muscley-armed clowns with girders, the ice cream cones, and Gear.  
 
I can see why people might now like they new ones, and continue to hold on dear to the 1st/2nd Gen, but the games are always getting better, and I'm pretty excited for this.

Overall it's probably the worst looking season.  I feel that the style is shifting to a more digimon or just random monster kind of design.  I feel like these are just past rejected concepts that someone felt they should be put into a new season.

I am not sure of how to judge Pokemon Design.

All of the pokemon except the original are fucking stupid.

Ugh... the majority of these pokemon are horrible looking. I was going to make a list of the dumbest ones, but it would be easier to make a list of the least dumbest.

621 is so bad. it actually makes me a bit sad that only the new ones will be in there during the main game. I think there are more good ones than you, but others... are odd. In a bad way. 
 
Also I like 559 and 560. Their expressions are charming to me.

There are 151 pokemon end of story.

They suck.  Pokemon get worse gen after gen because they need at least 150 new pokemon for each gen and how many original names and designs can they possibly think of.  Gen 1 pokemon were the absolute best and Gen 2 are really good, but after that they went down the shitter.

Game Freak just doesn't know how to innovate. Biggest thing they introduced was abilities. That was Ruby and Sapphire. It's been about 8 years. Pokemon was once a hot new thing but they've been complacent and not listened to anything they've been asked for. Now look. Triple battles? Really? that's dumb.

I heard the same complaints about the transition from Red/Blue to Gold/Silver to Ruby/Sapphire to Diamond/Pearl.  I imagine when they release the next gen of Pokemon games (may I suggest Puple/Orange) people will be bitching about those ones as well.

TBH they look WAY more kiddy, none of them look cool.

We go through the same thing every generation.  They announce the new Pokemon and everyone goes off on a tangent on how horrible they look, how they're the worst ones ever, how they've run out of idea and how last gens were okay.  Eventually, everyone warms up to them and enjoys the game just as much.
 
The main problem is that the new ones are new and often use a different style...  where as people are used to the originals.  I'll admit I personally don't like many of the new ones either, but I also think some of them are the best we've ever had.

 A lot of them do look weird but some of them i really like. The Sea Turtle and Alligator ones (don't remember their names) are probably my favorite. The water and grass starters look good too, better than the fire starter at least. The legendary ice dragon and Zekrom also look pretty cool.
