New to Giant bomb ...dont hurt me

I have been looking for a professional yet tacky gaming site for a long time now. IGN, 1up, ect are all too "by the book" in my opinion. I wanted something that had a little bit of personality. 
 
A friend showed me giant bomb and at first I was not interested. Later on i started watching the quicklooks and really loved the personality that the "bombers" bring to the discussion of a game. They are funny yet insightful and eventually i decided to register on the site itself. What really surprised me was the fact that i could link my steam/wow accounts up to the site and look at all my achievment stats. This blew me away. No other site that i know of does this and it really impressed me.
 
So here I am making my formal "noob" post on the forums :)
