Although I've never seen The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, I've heard enough about it where I'm sure it'd make for an interesting game. If not Telltale, than I think DoubleFine could do a good job with it.

I'll join the chorus here for GAME OF THRONES. That world begs for a GOOD videogame to be made out of it. I hope the show's producers heard how great the five episodes of Walking Dead were, and already cut a deal. Prefer the rights to the show over the book, since the music is so great. Some of the writing team who worked on TWD season 1, could crush it doing Game of Thrones. A dark fantasy world where terrible shit happens because of political machinations, and you have to make terrible decisions that feed into that intrigue. Yes please!

@Nottle: I think if you give Telltale the ability to clone people, they'd have much more devious plans for this world than cloning a new voice actor. They'd stop at nothing short of global domination with a whole army of Columbos, and then make an episodic game based on that.

Not gonna lie, seeing them try to do a crime drama would be interesting. Maybe something along the lines of a dirty cop trying not to get caught like The Shield or an undercover cop. Or a spy game based around the stuff that makes spies awesome instead of just another dam spy game that's a COD clone.

Telltale proved they could handle a beloved series like Walking Dead and not screw it up. I say stick to comic book IP's.

Y: The Last Man would be a PERFECT match for an episodic Telltale release. It's begging for one.

X-files would be a good one to do as it'd be far easier to get the people to reprise roles for just doing voice work & a telltale adventure game would work good for that format.

Yeah of course. BSG is like a whole new level though, it has a lot of really philosophical (maybe not the right word, it's just very... I don't know) facets to it and I feel it has a lot more impact than The Walking Dead ever will. I just think that BSG is a really hard series to capture, much more so than TWD.

Thinking back on BSG, no form of television, film, gaming, or books has ever left me feeling so beside myself before and I just don't see that happening in an episodic Telltale game

I see what you mean, but I don't know if I agree. As much as I like the style of The Walking Dead, it would look weird to see cartoony versions of Duchovny and Anderson.

Man, the more I think about this, the more I want it. Imagine arguing with Skinner and picking dialogue choices, TWD-style. You could even do a Resident Evil 2-style "play it again from the other agent's perspective" kinda thing. Second playthrough you're playing as Scully trying to debunk Mulder's crazy conspiracy theories. It would be great.

I think the James Bond series would be fun to tackle. They could do interrogation scenes, some combat, and a whole buttload of puzzle solving and gadgetry. Plus, they have limitless content to work with!

@leafhouse: Wow, X-files is a tremendously good shout.

I say give them full control of Monkey Island, I want more tales. Chuck in Grim Fandango, plenty of people are clamouring for more on that front.
