Consoles only, nowadays. I spend all day in front of a computer doing UI/UX design, and I really don't like to use traditional computers at all after work. Sitting in a task chair mousing for 9 hours a day is quite enough.

I built a gaming PC so I could play The Witcher 2 and while I still enjoy my PC I don't play it nearly as much as my consoles. I realized the main reason is because I rent a lot of games rather than buy them. When I built my PC I thought I would save lots of money in the long run since games were cheaper but I found myself spending more money on games just because they were on sale. I usually play a game, beat it, and move on so renting is a big deal to me. Until I can rent new PC games I'll continue to be a console gamer first.

Console. I prefer the unity across players. Each platform has their exclusives, PC included so that's not a big factor for me. It's a big factor why I own several consoles, but not why I choose to play there (even multiplatform games). I also highly prefer the achievement systems (Steam's is dreadful). Finally I like the comfort of stability. I don't like how my PC will eventually suck at running games, or how it can run certain games well, others not so well; how 1 in 2 games I buy seem to have a launch issue that I need to google first and so on and so on. All minor things that can be solved, but I just don't like having to stay on top of that stuff. It's not my thing.

Consoles are my preference, for some reason I feel more immersed when playing on a console. The ability to alt-tab out of the game on PC cheapens the experience for me, though I don't know why.

No preference, though sometimes the thought of having to start up the console is enough to make me not even bother, whereas I can just click an icon and go on PC.

I definitely prefer using a controller in almost all games, including FPS. This is largely because I use a TV as my monitor and my whole setup just isn't comfortable enough to be using M/KB for long periods. It used to be the opposite.

Higher resolution, frame rate, some simulators and ability to fix problems are good for PC, but I miss getting some crazy Japanese games.

Both because I don't miss out on any games or sales. And because it lets everyone know how baller I am.

70:30 PC to consoles. The only time I'd probably have to really get a console now is for fighting games though now there have been more and more FG's coming to the PC except for the 3D fighters (e.g. Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive).

Everytime I see a "Master Race" meme pic I can't help but want someone to take the PC character and have him begging at the feet of the peasants for games, because PC gamers are the biggest port beggars now.

Seeing a lot of reasons why I prefer PC over console already, but one thing people tend to glance over is UI, console UI is almost universally terrible. I remember playing multi-plat games on PC before I got back into console gaming again and just tearing my hair out at having to deal with these horrible UI solutions. Sure, when you play them with a controller and think of "console standards" they seem reasonable, but for a PC....
