PlayStation Exec Accused of Pedophilia by Internet Vigilante Group, Fired by Sony

This story, via Kotaku, is exactly as bonkers as it sounds.

I don't really have anything to add to Kotaku's reporting and I'm loath to speculate one way or another on something so serious. I expect we'll be hearing more about this.

I really, really hope the person would have been fired no matter what, but I wonder if the Activision-Blizzard fiasco had anything to do with the (relatively) swift response.

Yikes, but I'm not surprised; as if the video game industry is immune to hosting these monsters, but at least there's one less of them I guess, until another one gets exposed...
