I actually love soundboards. Always have, even when they had a shlocky shock jock reputation (probably because I could listen to and enjoy some of that stuff a lot, shout out to Don and Mike).
Jeff may have no finesse or timing in operating one but I'm never going to tell someone not ask damn son where'd you find this?
What if we compromise and add more air horn but, and hear me out here, add in more variety of air horn? Like, twice as much air horn but every other blast is a slightly different pitch?
I'd like to hope how much he absolutely BELTED it on the most recent Super Mario Special, especially at the start should be an indicator for anyone who wants to see the air horn/soundboard gone to instead get to stepping. It's part of his shtick, it works, if you don't like it...like sorry? But like have you also looked at his evolving screen icons as well? At some point should take the hint at what he's going for.
My biased love for Jeff's soundboard aside, this is a pretty shitty time; let the man enjoy this bit of freedom and fun because he needs an escape/outlet too.
I wish he'd use the soundboard more...judiciously. He seems to just spam it, creating a cacophony of nonsense noises, rather than using it to punctuate moments. Though, I suspect that's not why he bought the thing. So, hey, if it makes him happy, I'm not about to piss on his bonfire.
Sorry for bumping into an old conversation, but I wanted to share that I'm all in for air horns! They really bring that fantastic attention and leave nobody indifferent.
