Depends on if you mean most good games (360 when you count the overlap from PS3/360 multiplat and PC/360 multiplat) or 'the best games not available elsewhere' (I'd probably say PS3).
POLL - In your opinion, what current gen gaming platform has the best games?
" @Claude said:This bitch will last until life does not allow. Xbox 360 and the green sings proud. Sorry about the rhyme, I felt safe at the time. PS3 dreams... you know what I mean." I love my Wii. "It has come to my attention that you're also here to stay, motherfucker. Is that correct? And I vote 360, because I have all of those consoles except the DS and PSP, and it's the one I have the most games for. PS3 is super close second. "
What constitutes as "current-gen" on PC? BY which I mean that platform is inherently backward and forward compatible. Generations might as well not exist on the same plane as console games when regarding PC.
edit: I notice PC was the first choice in this list. Was this a consideration given to the generational concept exemplified in my last sentence?
" Imo PS3 has far surpassed the 360 in terms of exclusives. Combine them with all of the multiplat. games that it shares with the 360, and it's kinda obvious. "This. It's a popular misconception that the 360 has the largest and most abundant library of exclusive games. It couldn't be more far from the truth and is rather unfortunate that people are misled to believe it. The PS3 and the Wii are far superior consoles in terms of exclusive titles.

"I see your point and it's obviously true, but just imagine the term "current gen" was in front of "games" instead of "platform" (i.e. games released on PC since the launch of the Xbox 360 (Yes, I know the DS is older, but which do you think most people would define as the beginning of the current generation?)).
" @huntad said:Why would you only consider exclusives? Think of it this way: If you were to suggest someone pick up a single console, which would it be? I'm not a 360 fan or anything, but you can't deny that most developers are choosing to release their games there." Imo PS3 has far surpassed the 360 in terms of exclusives. When regarding exclusives, of the ones I've played, I would choose PS3. Between Heavy Rain eliciting an emotional response, 3D Dot Game Heroes eliciting an nostalgic response, and Move eliciting an immersible (as in I am here right now) response, PS3 has rounded out my expected spectrum rather well. Although admittedly those are the only three disc-based games I own on that particular platform, that's still a 100% hit rate... as much as I hate the pejorative mentality of the bluenames. (edit: and Tumblr made me desire a setup for stereoscopic gaming more than anything on PC, including Nvidia 3D Vision compatible games)
In fact I cannot think of the last time I played a 360 exclusive that brought forth a sense of anything other than completionism. Perhaps achievements are truly the last grace of a populous platform.
PS: that's a pun since the last MS exclusive I really enjoyed was a Peter Molyneux joint (fable 2).
edit2: Unless you count STALKER as current-gen even thought it was a year 2000 game released in 2007. That series is the most immersible ever. I've never played a game that elicited a such sense of survival.

Was this a consideration given to the generational concept exemplified in my last sentence? "Did you listen to the latest Tested podcast about the new AMD and Nvida graphics cards? Will Smith predicted that a race has begun for these cards to be on the next gen of consoles which is the main focus of both companies at this point in time. Also Ray Ozzie from Microsoft is talking about a post PC world.
I have indeed not (podcasts aren't my thing), but I have still added it to my queue with your recommendation. Video cards have a generational scale different to those of consoles, which is the source of my skepticism in the first place." @MrKlorox said:

edit: what do you think of porn stars taking names from classic cartoon characters? First Faye Valentine and now April O'neill. Now THAT's a generation I have interest in.
I would agree with you till I remember playing Assassin's Creed 1 on PC and having a difficult time with the controls. Borderlands is supposedly worse on PC also. But I agree for the most part.
"Best" is too subjective a term. What's best for me or what seems to be the most popular (best by others' standards)? I voted PC because I play the majority of my games on the PC these days and I play them for longer periods of time there than I do other systems. That wasn't always true. I used to play my 360 the most and then I was really into PS3 games. I'm cyclical so chances are I'll be consumed by a different platform eventually and if you ask me this question then, I'll have a different answer than I do today.
Today, though - PC.
I like the 360 the best, I play it way more than my ps3 but when it comes to exclusives I think the ps3 has the 360 very much beat. The 360 has Halo, Gears and Fable which are all either good or fucking amazing but that's about it. The ps3 has so many solid exclusives EG Uncharted, Infamous, Killzone, Gran Turismo, MGS (kinda) and so on...
I have a 360 but the platform that makes me most disappointed when I can't play its games is PC, so I'm going to have to go with that one. I'm saving the cash so I can get a decent PC and play Starcraft 2 and Civ 5.
BUT, there are exclusive games on all of these platforms I wish I could play. I really want to play Uncharted 2 and Demon Souls. I really want to play Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. I really want to play Professor Layton and the Phoenix Wright games. And though I can't think of anything right now, I'm sure there's some exclusives on PSP I would love. Though I know it is a utopian fantasy, I really do hope for a future with a unified platform so I don't have to make these silly decisions. In the meantime I just have to hope that I find a box of money.
PS3 has inarguable the best staple of exclusives but if you count 360 multiplatform that could push you in that direction. I voted PS3. Wii shouldn't even be on the list.
