PS2 games that are better than anything on current consoles

Hey,

Just got a PS2 (8 years late).  Already have a 360 and Wii.  I've just bought ICO, Shadow of the Collosus, Dragon Quest and FFXII.  Anyone know of other games which are still yet to be bettered on current consoles?

Final Fantasy X is a must.

Also try and find a copy of Psychonauts.

I was thinking that I would get Psychonauts for 360 on the originals (I prefer the controller).

Been and done FFX

Other than Shadow of the Colossus, I have the same games in my collection, so we already think alike - good taste man.

OKAMI! That's a must buy! I full advocate that purchase because it's my current all time favorite game. But seriously man, it's a true gem, and I think it just got on the Greatest Hits list, although it didn't sell but w/e, GET THAT!

Other games I can recommend: FFX, Kingdom Hearts, God of War I and II, and there is so much more. The PS2 has one of the best libraries of games.

This is going to get nuts if I dont watch it.  Thanks for the Persona recommendation.  It's not due out here in the UK until october, but it probably going to take that long for me to get through FFXII and Dragon Quest.

I don't know if I can go back to Kingdom Hearts 2.  Played 1 to death, but not a great button mashing fan.  Is it worth it for the story?

Also, eventually the 360 will call me back with Fallout 3, GoW2 and Fable 2.

I tend to go in cycles anyway.....after playing GTAIV to 100%, I tried bully but couldn't really get into it.  I need to scratch my JRPG itch, then I'll want some Mass Effect style game (ie Fallout3) or a shooter (GoW2).

Orange box am better than anything last gen imo.

but i have a giant list of great rpgs i just bought (have a ps2 and ps3) but felt they were a must before they got even more impossible to find

Silent Hill 2 and 3, God of War 1 and 2, Killzone, Odin Sphere, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.

Any of the Metal Gear games would be a great addition.

God of War II, GTA: Vice City and San Andreas, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Deception and Total Overdose.

Get Kingdom Hearts 2.

No PS2 game can Beat MGS4.

But great PS2 games? R&C series, mainly UYA, and J&D series, mainly Jak 3, but all of them are amazing. KH is great as well, the second was the best, but I recommend you play both anyways.
