So I had a 20gb launch PS3, and it YLODed. I am buying a Slim PS3, what are the chances it YLODs or has some issue a few years down the road? My total PS3 investment is around $900, hell I might as well have become a PC gamer. brb.
personally hven't heard of a slim getting YLOD. I have one and my dad has one and both work as good as they did on day 1 and are super quiet. I'm not too worried about it. My 60GB launch PS3 got YLOD.
@Fudgeblood: That's nothing. When it (the PS3) first came out here in itty bitty Denmark the price was higher. Like $1104 for that machine, and that's less than what my gaming rigs costs.
