Put Giant Bomb's past game of the years in the order from favorite to least favorite.

I haven't played Uncharted 2 or Hitman, so they're off the list, I'd say Hitman would likely be fairly high up and Uncharted 2 fairly far down if I had though. None of their picks were my favorites of either year, nor my favorite entries in their respective franchises, so this is a really hard list to sort in the "what game did I dislike less" kind of way. The top three are the only games I genuinely liked.

I'll go with:

3. Skyrim
4. Plunkbat
5. The Last of Us
6. Mass Effect 2
7. Shadow of Mordor
8. GTA 4

Of what I have played of this list here is my ranking:

I will also add that these were all phenomenal games, so no disparaging of a game is intended by it being lower on the list.

I have never actually played Super Mario Maker, so I guess that just goes at the 10 spot. Had you asked me last year, Mass Effect 2 would have been way higher, but after replaying it earlier this year...well, let's just say I think some people have a serious nostalgia effect going on with that game. It still has a special place in my heart, but it's nowhere near as great of a game as I used to think.

And as others have said here, I don't think many if any at all would crack my personal top 10...but I suppose that's not really the point of this list. (Seriously though...poor Witcher 3 :( )
