Anyway, question for you ultima. Is the set-up the same if I use the HD part of the cables? I'd assume a change would exist, since you're adding more to the equation.

The same would apply for component cables, but obviously a different capture device supporting the 5 inputs would be needed, and more of those splitters (unless the device lets you out to tv already). I do have an interesting 3-way splitter that has the three colors of component video, but I'd then need tons of others, and I'm not even sure I could input those 3 into my one composite video input on the dazzle.

To answer your question, I don't capture game footage in widescreen. My camcorder is 16:9, but for the footage in this video I used after effects and put a feathered mask in between the standard 4:3 game footage and my 16:9 recording of my hands. It's a neat trick, if it wasn't so time consuming I could do it for all my match videos.
