Resident Evil Door Loading Screen Question

Which games in the series subverted the loading screen door animation by having a zombie appear on the other side? I want to say the first to do it was Survivor, but I don't remember. Has it happened more than once in the series?

Yes, it happened in 2 near where you get the crank. Resident Evil does it when you try to leave the mansion by the front door, too.

Happened first in 2 I think, I'm sure it was brought back at some point but I don't play enough of em.

And while technically before the door load, this happens in the first game.
