Now it all comes down to this Rock Band or Guitar hero.

Now that all the anouncements for E3 are done and all the new features and modes were added to rockband guitar hero which one will be better? I think that it is a tough desition on which one will come out on top. Guitr hero had its own uniqe symbole but rockband respondes and did the same. Will the songes be better in rockband or guitar hero. Rockband has 85 in there setlist and it was said that guitar hero has 90.

It is hard to tell which one will be better but what do you think about it?

So far, I'm planning on buying RB2. I need to see the list for GH:WT before I decide to buy it.

Well I have Rock Band and I'll be continuing with Rock Band 2 with potential of getting the special edition drum set.

True I have a sense of loyalty to Harmonix, but comparing Rock Band to GH 3 makes it an easy choice.  I don't enjoy the art style of Guitar Hero 3, the boss battles were horrendous, and it just felt a lot clumsier compared to Rock Band.  Harmonix is a studio filled with musicians trying to put that feeling into a game, and I feel they've proven themselves more than anyone else.  Plus, the DLC has been absolutely outstanding, and I expect that to continue while Guitar Hero has yet to prove themselves as a strong presence on the DLC front.

I've got GH3 and would like to try RB to see how the drums are. My gues sis that I will opt for GH: World Tour when it's price drops over here in the UK. We pay pretty much double what you guys in the states pay for RB when that first came out!!!

Guitar Hero World Tour for me. Hendrix plus ACDC,Metallica and a new awesome guitar with some kind of cool sensor along the neck for a more enojyable rock experience. The drum kit looks better then RB's one too.

Rock Band 2 for me, i already have the firsgt and most of the songs are compatable so its an easy choice.

Plus Rock Band 2 just seems better to me, i mean dude...have you seen the drums. I'm totally excited as i find the guitaring a bit on the boring side now, drumming is the only thing i enjoy really.

Rock on

RB2, only thing I can see really drawing people to GH: WT is the music creator thing and I have no interest in using it.

I vote for the developer who only casually mentioned Metallica instead of making a huge deal of it.  So yes, Rock Band 2.

Rock Band 2.  Because Alex Navarro said it is awesome.

Ok.. and because the song list is epic, and it's got the best cooperative play => thus most fun.

I prefer Rock Band. DLC support just blows Guitar Hero out of the water.

I prefer Rock Band because I've already spend hundreds of dollars on the system an 80+% of the DLC thatsl ike 300 bucks or sometihing. I can't  just start up with a new game and GH3 was pretty bad so yea RB FTW.

RB2: universal platform for DLC and previous RB songs, and no need to buy any new proprietary peripherals. Plus a FAR better setlist.

Fuck Activision.

I need to find out more about both games, but right now I am leaning towards GH:WT. The instruments just look like they will be better/more fun to me. Add Hendrix and the new Metallica CD (unless it sucks) to that, I am pretty excited for that game. I might also get into the song creator since I play real guitar, but I am not sure on that. I will wait for official songlists before I make my final decision though.
