What's is the saddest and most emotional video game song you've ever heard? Another question- has a video game ever made you cry?

Uhhhhh.... Okay, well, I'll get the easy question out of the way. No game or movie has ever made me cry, but I can't deny there have been times when I've gotten a bit choked up over some stuff. A song, though, eh? I think I'll have to get back to you on that.

No, a videogame has never made me cry, or even come close.

HOWEVER, this did, although it's only kind of a video-game:

The song at the end of Shadow of the Colossus when the camera follows the bird, that made me get a tear in my eye. Called Sunlit Earth.

I've never cried at a game or movie. Some movies pull the heart-strings a little. Video games, not at all.

I just finished watching Band of Brothers the other day. When the dude told the Jews they had to go back into the camp was pretty sad.

I'll go with some easy songs right now as they're the first to pop up in my head. The best is yet to come, Old Snake theme, Aerith's theme, To Zanarkand, Theme of Love (FFIV) ....yeah I think I'll stop here or else I'll just start listing a bunch of Final Fantasy themes.

The low-health sound from Zelda made me cry. Bleeding ears will do that to you.

Seriousely, no songs stick out. Half-Life has elicited several emotional responses, particularly in the latest episode.

Aerith's theme. I would agree, if I had to have a funeral, I would want that song to play.

Although "Here's To You" by Lisbeth Scott (from Metal Gear Solid 4) is also pretty sad as well.

Some sad songs I can remember are To Zanarkand and Red Moon from Disgaea.

I have never cried in a game, or in any movie for that matter. But I did get some for of chill down my spine in some moments. The ones I can remember now are Shadow Hears: Covenant and Xenosaga Episode III edings.

FF8 had its moments, the theme songs eyes on me by faye wong always gets me in that bluesy mood, especially the piano version

anyway, the game that left the biggest impression on me was the one i was expecting it from the least, elite beat agents.

The music that played at every safe-haven area in Resident Evil 4 was incredibly sad. It stood for something spectacular; it was that feeling that you just got out of harms way, but are so far from the end of the ordeal, and are so alone. It never made me cry. I cried at Symphony of the Night once when I was 8 because Galamoth beat me 6 times in a row, though. That wasn't out of sadness, but frustration. Here's the RE4 song I was talking about. It's called "Serenity", I guess.

The only game that  ever brought me to tears was the original Metal Gear Solid. The deaths of Sniper Wolf and Gray Fox were pretty heartwrenching.

I've cried watching Futurama and Scrubs (god I'm sad), but I've yet to cry during a video game, so I guess no music has really had an effect on me. I though the music in Final Fantasy X was superb though, and quite emotional at times.

It's okay, everyone cries during the odd Futurama in the later seasons.

And at the RE4 guy, all of the main Resident Evil's have their own "sanctuary" song. They're all very moving, and give that kind of impression. Capcom can move you, if they really try to   ;)

As far as games making me cry, the culprits are Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, as far as I can recall.
But I did get pretty choked up in Persona 4, Persona 3, and Metal Gear Solid 4.
Also like to throw this Golden Sun track into the mix for sad songs:

So my answer to both kind of goes together. I don't know if it would be considered the saddest bit of music I've ever heard, but mixed with the story and the moment it just kills me. The game is Chrono Cross and the song is called "Star Stealing Girl". At this moment in the game you have managed to go back in time to help your female companion "Kid" deal with a bad event that happened in her past. After rescuing her from a burning orphanage she recounts that she has now lost her home, the only person who ever cared about her (Lucca from Chrono Trigger), and begs you not to abandon her. Of course at this moment the force that allowed you to go back weakens and you disappear leaving the little girl alone on the hill overlooking her destroyed home.

...ok fine I might have teared up... a little... and they were manly tears.

I'm going to have to say the song that Yuna was singing in Final Fantasy X-2 at the Thunder Plains. At the same time the scene that was going on at the same time can bring a tear to your eye.

Cried while playing 3 games,

the ending of FFX  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPMFXfNk1IM fuck i just watched it at started crying :(  I still think FF X is the best FF game,  at least the japanese version(f*ck you english voice of Tidus) FF XIII isn't bad but FF X is better according to me, still only 10 hurs into FF XIII.

already posted Eite beat agents video,  cried during work because of this...

FF XII, i don't really like the gameplay, but the cut scenes. f*ck donkey b*lls, this aint a game, it's f*cking art

Hm, I'd have to go with Revealed Truth from FFX, just because of the moments accompanying it in-game make you sad. But To Zanarkand is probably a little better in that department, even though they are very similar.
