I doubt he was actually on the IR. He probably had to do something else and they were giving him shit because he was sore from Kinect, but I don't think it kept him from sitting down and talking. Although maybe he didn't show up monday....which is why Jeff filled in on I love mondays...huh...

I guess none of you guys heard what actually happened. He was playing Kinect and his wrist caught the spinning ceiling fan. Somehow the band on his wrist got caught and he was elevated off the ground and was rapidly spun in circles around the room. Due to his height and the small size of the room, his feet and ankles continually bashed against the walls, over and over again. The tension and pain in his wrist was so intense that it started to make its way to his heart. Ryan knew that if he didn't act soon the pain would reach his heart and cause it to explode. He had to act fast. Before he could formulate a plan, though, his left leg snapped in half from impact with a picture frame. The picture inside? The cover to the instruction manual of Battletoads. Yes, he screamed out in pain. Yes, he wanted to give in to the pain and die. But Ryan Davis is no mere mortal. He is no weak man. He overcame the agony of his leg breaking in half and focused on saving his life from the fatal killing heart pain of mortally wounding death. He took a deep breath. Then in a burst of rage he pulled his head towards his captive wrist and proceeded to gnaw. The man chewed half his wrist off in a effort to escape. It was like something you would see in a Saw movie. 
 
If Ryan Davis was a lesser man he would be dead now. But he is a fucking God and it would be wise to not mock his injury. You don't want to provoke his wrath.

I wasn't even aware that he had an injury from Kinect, but if you play a whole day of guitar hero or some intensive Wii game you're bound to get sore or maybe strain a bit, I expect Kinect to be little different since...you're the controller!

I agree with those saying he's probably only sore cause he's overweight and was kinda exercising for a whole day. Not trying to be a dick but it's probably true. If he was seriously injured i would wish a quick recovery but if he's just sore from Kinect then he can man up and deal with it. I don't understand why people are rushing to his defense, it's not like they insulted him to be mean just pointing out the obvious.

Man this thread went downhill pretty fast. The OP meant well, no reason to be dicks. Also, we have no idea how much or how little anyone else exercises, so saying anything on that subject is just misinformed. Some people can be overweight and still exercise regularly, some people never exercise and are rail thin. I also imagine that using Kinect may use different muscles than you're used to, so lots of people could become sore from using it. I bet I would.
