Alexy Quest!

It's an entirely different franchise. It's not a good name. Let it goooooo.

Mass Alex isn't an especially good name but it is better than Alexy Quest, a name that just doesn't even work.

I can get behind this.

"Alexy Quest" is pretty great. For those of you who don't like it... you've heard of Galaxy Quest, right? Great big parody of Star Trek?

But they've already named the show. I don't really see them going back to re-name it, and I imagine this topic is getting real old, real fast for them.

I think Alex Effect works better than Mass Alex. Rolls of the tongue easier

Mass Alex is literally the best name for a show I've ever heard, and no one will convince me otherwise.

I like Mass Alex as a meta joke on the dumb named series Giant Bomb has.

I also didn't like the name, but seeing how adamant Alex is about it and how much it makes people upset I've decided to defend it like it was my own child. Mass Alex forever!

Mass Alex sounds fine if you pronounce Alex as A-lex rather than Al-ex.

No content title on this site ever brought me joy until Mass Alex. Fright or Shite would have done it, but that tragically got voted down. God bless you, Alex Navarro, for giving us Mass Alex.

Alexy Quest sounds amazing and invokes space. That's all you need.

To be clear to everyone here, I just want it know that I made this only because of the hilarious argument that took place at the end of Friday's Beastcast. Love ya, @alex.

Galaxy Quest doesn't have anything to do with Mass Effect...so fucking what? Why does the name of the series have to invoke the name of the game being played? Does Murder Island do that? Does Exquisite Corps? He's playing a series in which he embarks on a quest across the galaxy, hence, the name works, while also referencing a movie. Alexy Quest is hilariously dumb and is much more obvious than forcing yourself to pronounce Alex a certain way just to make it kinda-sorta work.

Mass Alex is the first time in the site's history where I think they dropped the ball on naming a series.

Holy fuck, enough already. Mass Alex is the name of the series. Move on! Hold on a mo whilst I telepathically contact a mod to lock this thread.

Alexy Quest is the right answer. To to deny it, is to deny one self truth. If it doesn't change the title, that's fine, in my heart, I'm an Alexy Quest man, and secretly you are too.

I think they could fix the monumental, colossal screw up that is Mass Alex with a simple change to Mass...Alex? (Alex? fading in late).

If they do that, I’ll renew my premium membership.

Listen Alexy Quest is a fine series of words but it has nothing to do with the damn feature and that's pretty important for at title!

Alexy Quest...because it's Alex on a quest across the galaxy. Saying a name like that doesn't have anything to do with the game is like saying Breaking Brad is a bad name for a video series because none of those videos involve games about dealing drugs.

That doesn't equate at all. That name is 100% self explanatory and fits any game they apply it to.

If Alexy Quest popped up on the scheduler that first time I'm gonna be like what in the holy hell is this supposed to be.

@efesell: But Breaking Brad doesn't tell you what game he's playing. And yeah, you'd have that reaction...the first time. As soon as the video pops up on the home page, you'll see the thumbnail and the description and know if it's something you're interested in. Considering the fun shenanigans/banter we can expect from the Beasters playing a game, I think a reference to Galaxy Quest is perfectly appropriate here.

Also, most people who watch East Coast content probably listen to the Beastcast as well, so they'd hear about it on there first and be even less likely to be confused.

Alexy Quest AND Ben & Breakfast are better titles.
