staying in on Friday nights and weekends more these days?

i usually go out on Friday nights and weekends a lot, but now with the economic downturn and having no job at the moment, i find myself staying in and playing more video games. i guess its good, becuase now i have more time to play games that i haven't completed. its weird that i find myself buying more games than usual these days with the money i have left in my bank. damn, gotta get my priority straighen out.

Yeah same here, I don`t go drinking with my friends much anymore so I just play some games home : )

I seem to be at home more as well on friday and saturday nights:(
But then that means more gaming time:)

Yeah, Lately I've been staying and just playing games. It doesn't have to do with the economy, just that the semester started up again and I only work 2 days a week, which is not enough to go out for beers and pay my phone bill haha.

same with me, but it's not because of the economy, it's because of the insecurity in my city, so many gun fights, going out to street is like asking for dead. :s

I'm sick... I can't handle playing games. Which sucks, because I want to play Street Fighter.

I started staying in weekends a long time ago - when my children were born.  That was 16 years ago now.  Man I used to out a lot before then.  Wouldn't change anything though.

It's 1:42 am EST right now, so if I sound delirious/drunk wutevz bear with me. I think that what with the modern industry;s focus on online communities, multiplayer, etcL: the whole videogames are antisocial thing is a pretty silly argument. I get that "pwning nublets" is not as acceptable (society;s acceptance that is) as mackin chicks and dreakin bud, but the very fact that you are both a) communicating and b)socializing via an online network nullifies any asshat w/ a stick up his butt saying that video games lead to your childrenbeing albino and sterile.

yeah i just play games and movies now on the weekend because i can't afford to go out anymore.

i havent been gaming much lately. a little here and there, i play my bro in nhl 09 almost every day though. but as far as hardcore gaming goes, nah, haven't been doing it for a while. i was HOOKED on socom for a while up untill a few weeks ago. maybe tomorrow night ill play some more. 

We had a good ol' classic game night at my place. Just a bunch of dudes playing through SFIV. Always love game night.
