I said get off my back, geez. Mine would go to Super Mario World. I have more fond memories of it than Mario 3, mainly because I was born after the NES had its run.

I'm fine, thanks. I get weird satisfaction from making someone confused with crazy instructions to a task that they would have known how to complete without any instructions at all.
I loved Super Mario Bros. 3, but I like Super Mario World's art style better (I'm comparing the 16-bit remake of SMB3 to SMW, obviously SMW would look better than the 8-bit version)
One of the few games I still have the box and manual for. Normally, even today, I put them in a case and throw everything else away. I had to be driven an hour away to the closest game store, which was a Toys R Us, to pick this up. I still have the damn receipt for it...3/09/90!

Despite having Super Mario World 2 in the title, I would hardly call it a Mario game.
But still, that game fucking rocks. Except for the annoying baby Mario shrieks.
My personal favorite is Super Mario World. I've beaten both games far too many times, but with the exception of the Kuribo Shoe, Mario World is the better game. Maybe it can be a little easy if you just float through all the levels with the cape, but I had far more fun over the years with that one.
And to think, that game came with the SNES. Oh, better days.
