Survey: For Multiplatform Games, Which Version Do You Normally Choose?
For those who submitted their answers, I would appreciate it if you could take the time to give reasons as to why you chose that answer (eg. Xbox Live, achievements, cheaper choice, etc.)
For me, I choose the PC/Mac because it's convenient for me. I'm always on the move and so to have a system that delivers the same performance (sometimes better) as its counterpart, that's good enough for me.
Always PC. I hate playing games with a controller so I always go PC when given the choice. Plus all the usual things that come with PC: cheaper games, better performance, customization/mod support and digital downloads that don't require me to waste time/space with physical media to name a few.
PC Since 2010, you do not need a monster video card for multiplayform games, and steam is waaaaay more convinient than discs and cheaper than XBL/PSN downloads.

Very true. Thank you, Valve! I've never liked buying games on Xbox Live. PSN is ok.
PC, yo.
EDIT: Higher resolution capability (most of the time), options as far as Keyboard/mouse or gamepad go (sometimes), more graphical options that lead to a better overall looking game, higher frame rate (sometimes), Steam/Origin sales, and convenience. There are other factors including occasionally more players in multiplayer matches, and free DLC, but those are more of a case-by-case basis, while the reasons I mentioned earlier are generally the case for PC multiplatform games.
I'm beginning to play a lot more PS3 games and plan on moving towards a PC, but at the moment mostly 360. I have had more friends with a 360 than a PS3. Also, I hate the system uses to download games/other stuff from the store and the update system for the console itself. PS Plus has made a lot of that stuff easier, but my hate for those things kept my PS3 a just-Blu-Ray-player for a while.
PC when I can, but for games that are console only, 360. The PC is for quality, the 360 for convenience.
PC. Easier, digital, more space, better graphics.
On the down side: Later release dates, goddam assassins creed revelations. I'm never buying a ubisoft game on preorder on PC again.
I play console and PC fairly equally, but I usually go PS3 because my PC isn't really up-to-snuff. I also personally am uninterested in mods, the base game is enough for me.
360. It's my preferred method of gaming, all of my friends are there, and I value my achievements more than my trophies. I only buy multiplats on PS3 if it's like FFXIII where the 360 version is noticeably worse. If my PC wasn't a joke I'd buy games there... but it is, so I don't.
All else being equal, it depends on how easy it is to get the achievements. Easy, 360. Hard, PS3 or PC. Steam sales are also a major factor.
Usually PC unless it has been made known the port is terrible, I prefer the higher resolutions and better graphics, Skyrim and Borderlands 2 being prime examples, if its not on PC then I usually get it on whatever platform it looks/runs better on (this by standards is usually the 360).
I chose PC but that is a bit deceptive. I rent a ton of games on 360 and some on PS3 but if I plan on buying a game I'll usually get it on PC. It's cheaper, and games look and run better. And I actually enjoy tinkering with the settings to get the best possible graphics without killing performance. Most games though I just rent on 360 or PS3. Between the two I prefer the 360 controller and games are generally slightly better on 360 so that is usually what I go with.
