It seems that Tested wants in on the endurance run action but their plans are a bit expensive. They need 50 new memberships before they start filming.

I can't imagine anything tech related I want to see turned into an ER. I love Will and Norm but, I don't know.
Any other hints about what it is that anyone have heard of?
@Winternet: @Yanngc33: Speculation from the comments points to a $2500 4000 piece set of Star Wars Lego.
50? What the hell kind of number is that? Don't they have like 10000 already? They probably get more than that on a good month. And how about the people signing up for Giant Bomb in that period, who could care less about Tested?. So why the hell would they even ask for 50? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Unbelievable. Really moronic way to handle it.

Might be 50 subscriptions just to break even the cost of whatever their doing?

That's exactly what it is.
I wish I could do more to show support, but I already have a subscription and I'm a poor College student.

So how are they going to differentiate between subscribers that month that actually want to support tested and those who haven't an idea or can't give a shit? If you are going to ask for a mere 50 subscribers, wouldn't it make more sense to make a special tested subscribe page to see if they could even hit that number?

I am sure its just they are going to give it a green light if they get 50 subscribers in a certain time period. Also when using the tip jar you can leave a note saying what the funds go to, so they recommend you mention it is for the tested endurance run.
I'm calling it: They'll endure building this: http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Ultimate-Collectors-Millennium-Falcon/dp/B000WLW3W0/ref=pd_sim_t_2
