Thank You Giant Bomb (video I made)

Hey guys,

I've been working on a video that acts as a thank you to the staff and friends of Giant Bomb. I've never edited anything like this before so it's all kind of new to me, but I'm pretty proud of the outcome.

I wanted to show how far Giant Bomb has come by starting with somewhat early stuff and then eventually getting into segments that show what's going on with Giant Bomb Chicago, Giant Bomb New York, and the new members of the crew. There were a lot of clips I wanted to include but wasn't able to. I'm happy I got to put in a bunch of my favorites though.

With yesterday being the one year anniversary of Ryan's passing, and the fact that the community has come into question recently, now seems like a great time to smile and laugh at all of the good things that have happened, learn from the bad things, and show everyone the good that can come from the site and the community.

@jothel: Nope, although that song is great.

@ulquiokani: The song is called Party Hard. The site used to play it a bunch before, during, and after various livestreams (according to this thread). I wasn't familiar with it from the streams -- I found it after. But I knew some people liked it and would recognize it, and it fit well with what I was going for.

I applaud the effort.

I'm not saying this to be mean, but I feel this could have been better. There was too much focus on modern Giantbomb. There is way more to the growth, evolution, and history of Giantbomb than how to build a bomb, persona 4 and recent videos.

Still, I applaud your effort and intent.

@cornbredx: Don't worry, it doesn't come across as mean. The focus on modern Giant Bomb probably comes from the fact that I didn't start following the website until a few years back. I wasn't there from the start. Plus this video is supposed to be less of the history of Giant Bomb and more of a selection of my favorite clips set to the vague backdrop of the evolution of the site. I also had to fit all of that into a short song. There were a bunch of things I wanted to include but wasn't able to.
