Thanks for the improved nonsubscriber experience

I took the GB survey and when asked for improvements, I thought of the ads for nonsubscribers. I've been a subscriber for years, so I don't see the changes to the nonsubscriber experience. Last I checked, there were pseudo-toolbars, background ads, and just general crazy site takeover madness. I used to be embarrassed to recommend Giant Bomb to friends because of the ads.

Anyway, so I logged out to see what it currently looked like before responding and was pleased to see that's all changed. Thanks for removing the ad explosion and moving to more moderate ad layout!

They're still kinda dodgy. Links to sketchy software and clickbait nonsense below this thead, a Halo advert above this thread so big that it pushes your post down to the lower half of my monitor. Definitely better than the full site skins and drop down video ads of a few months ago though for sure!
