I was thinking that earlier. Also I get Gamespot UK whenever I go there, does anyone know if there are any major editorial differences between this and the US version, or does it just change things like release dates?

Web sites like to roll up brands into a single umbrella for reporting. That's why we used to have the whiskey logo down there. In this case, the umbrella channel is gamespot, so there is no need to link to gamefaqs/metacritic, just the GS one. We did this footer quick, Alexis and I will think up something a little more functional when we have time later in the week. I know people liked the ability to scan stories from the other sites down there and we'll try to continue that.

Tested has been truly butchered. I give it 9 months.

Good to see a simple slim footer down there rather than the old one.

It's worth noting that Giant Bomb isn't available on the "Visit other CBS Interactive Sites" list at the bottom of Gamespot. Not here either.

Just glad that annoying bottom ad (which sometimes would fill up the screen for no reason), is gone.

Indeed, the "spot" should be under the "game" not next to it. Totally ruins the composition.
