This is a little vague; sorry in advance.

I remember playing a game in 2001 - 2002 on a Windows computer. Basically, you could write a play with characters, music, sound effects, etc. The characters had different voices and actions, and you could make them enter and exit at various times. It was all very crude but enjoyable at the same time. Does anyone remember this game?

Much obliged!

@saucyrossi: It's a long shot (since it came out 6-7 years before what you've described), but it might have been 3D Movie Maker or a similar product to that.

This Wikipedia link will tell you more about 3DMM and similar products. Hope it helps. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_Movie_Maker

It was about 8 years ago (2006) that I played this game. Unfortunately, I don't remember it's release date or name.

The game cover had a grown man with a sword on it and it was very dark and gray. It was a computer game that required a physical disc. I only had the demo, but this game entailed a man (3rd person) who went around on an island killing ogre's and I believe goblins very similar to a "beat-em-up" style. After killing them, gold drops from them, and you use this to go to the local merchant who lets you upgrade your weapons and your armor. I think the title was only one word, and it was probably released in the early 2000's, as the graphics where mildly choppy. I doubt it was very popular, but I'd give an arm and a leg to learn what that game was called.

I have a puzzle game a dont remeber the name . I played it between 2006-2008.

You start in a world with some levels unlocked and have to beat them to unlock the others. After you beat them all you unlock anoter world. The levels consisted in various types of puzzles but with the same style: all were in a board with squares with different colors.

It had a number in the name like: "Puzzle Game 3* " for example.

Thanks for your help.

It was about 2003-6 when I played this 3-d third person RPG-ish action game at my cousin, where you played as some kind of warrior... I remeber a dungeon-like place, pretty dark with maybe red mist, and you could go around killing enemies, jumping from ledge to ledge and stuff. I remember a part where I noticed that my sword was broken (half of it was missing I think) so I started looking for another. I found one in a stone pile and pulled it out, only to have a giant, I think gray-skinned monster chase after me. There was also a boss fight with a wizard-woman-thingy with red robes. There was a cutscene before it where she was sitting on a throne like thing I think and then she stood up and started talking to the character while walking in circles around him. She was casting fireballs and stuff like that, and was hard to beat. The game had a desktop shortcut icon with a red "R" or "V" or "M" in a circle, I believe. Its's a bit like Prince of Persia and Dark Souls, I guess. Hope you can help me find it, it really annoys me how I don't remember the title.

Hi guys, does anyone remember the name of a game that has 3 parts (1,2,3) and part 3 came out last year I believe. The game is in first person and you basically walk around in an open world and beat up people and get jerry cans and torch people? I played it on PC but im not sure if it had console versions or not.

Two games, both of psone and were in 3D, the first one had a red scenario like hell that had a lot of floating rocks, some after jumping in, I think, some people and some elemental beings, but I mistake seemed to be an RPG with words in some oriental language, the characters maybe had a ponytail and wore a cloak type.

The second had two girls, shows a cutscene of a struggle of one of the girls to someone give this girl was kidnapped or disappeared, you control the other girl and had to find her friend, i think this girl had spells and the girl wore skirt.

Sry bad english.

Been trying to find this one for awhile, it was on a PC demo disc probably late 90's into 2000's, an isometric action survival game set on a space station being attacked by aliens, the characters all had their own professions, i remember a scientist lady with a lab coat, some kind of engineer, a guard who was the only person to start with a gun and a kid.

You could get the characters to check cupboards and other storage units to find useful items, one of the first offensive weapons you find is a fire extinguisher, there weren't a ton of aliens to fight and it felt like the game was more about being careful than about action.

The alien i remember had grey skin, stood on two legs hunched forward and ran towards you when you entered rooms.

There might have been small capsule like elevators taking characters to different levels, which would be a pretty unique thing in an isometric game, that's if i'm remembering correctly.

That's pretty much what i remember, it was always something i wanted to check out, but some games slip past you and are never seen again.

Hi guys, just woke up thinking about this game can't remember which brought me here.

So the game I played it around 10 years ago on my playstation 2.

The game ein my memory serves me right goes like this :

You are a man in a spaceship with your friend and another of your friend in another spaceship. Either your spaceship or your friend's crashed into this planet you were passing by and you have to go and get it him. So on the planet you try to locate your friend. Upon scouting the planet there are these strange animals you have to kill and you find a civilisation about to kill one of their own (I think). You then save her and she follows you. She is a witch and use spells and power while you have different guns. As you progress through the every long gameplay, you end up being a group of four persons. I don't remember if you can play with the other humans, but at some point you play the woman having powers and use spells, then comeback to the man and again control the woman. Of course they fall in love later on.

Thing in the game with significance:

-At one point she transform you into one of those monsters and you can control him. You eat the enemy to gain back health and you are quite strong. You can throw enemies at other enemies and do other stuffs.

-the gameplay is really really long

-only when you control the woman you can do spells and have many weapons with the humans

-the humans have jetpacks which can elevate them to a limit and then it recharges. It is really helpful to navigate

-I think the woman's father is the chief and the antagonist

-when you meet with some of your friends they follow you and support you in battle but I am not sure you can just choose who to play as. The game does it for you when they go for different missions.

-when controlling players, you see them completely, and they are a bit small

Those are all the things I can remember, maybe the story is not precise but it is similar. This is my second time attempting to find this game. So hopefully this time you guys will help me find it this time. Thanks for making it to the end of this post and straining those nerves and memory to help me find the name of this game. I really enjoyed this game when small of not it was my best ps2 game I played.

Sounds a lot like Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

Hi guys,

My girlfriend is trying to remember a game she played as a kid. What she remembers is:

1. It's a 90's style adventure PC game, in the vein of Putt Putt or Pajama Sam. We checked, and Humongous didn't make anything like it.

2. You play as a red truck with a blue baseball cap.

3. You pick up oil or gas cans.

4. It was weird.

It's really bothering her. Can anybody help? I tried googling everything I could think of, but there are so many truck games it's hard to find anything.

Thanks!

Game was definitely on a Sega system, I'm not sure if it was Genesis or Saturn. Played it at my cousin's house in Brazil.
It was an RPG. Futuristic. It had a desert level.
At least two of the characters in it were robots one male one female.

I get a kick out of this thread, honestly. It's a game in itself to try and work out what people are referring to. Lots of memory racking a detective work.

So the game I'm looking for I think is from around year 2000, maybe a few years later. It's a PC game, an RPG where you mostly run around in dungeons (if I remember correctly) killing goblins and others enemies, with the same or a similair perspective as in Diablo. I think you have an inventory and can equip items like swords and armor. I believe there are villages in the game with people you can talk to.

Things I remember the most about this game are the loading screens, intro cinematic and one boss.

The loading screens are of you walking up or down a spiral staircase in first person, that happens when you enter or leave dungeons I think.

In the cinematic there's a quiet village at night, and some big red crystal (if I remember correctly, possibly some similair or entirely different object) turns someone trying to run away into stone.

I remember one boss which I think was either a huge spider in a room with a bunch of smaller spiders everywhere, or a huge centipede worm thing with a bunch of smaller worms or spiders.

I'm looking for a TPS game (if I remember well), it was released maybe around 2000 or before. I can't remember too many things about it. You started with a some kind of UFO creature on an island and I clearly remember that you couldn't go to the ocean or some kind of shark would eat you. I played it on PC. There were enemies, and you had to collect things, and you could explore the whole island if I remember well. There was a big mountain as well. Sorry, but i played it as a little kid, that's why i don't really remember.
Thanks in advance! :)

Does someone remember the name of this game??

Console: Famicom.

Genre :Platformer.

Notable characters:

The Main character looks like Mario, with black pants and a white t-shirt if im not mistaken.

Notable gameplay mechanics:

In the first stage you run into a frog and when you kick it it spits like an egg wich gives a random ability, one looks like a kick uppercut. There's a stage with rising lava and i recall one boss that always killed me ... it was just a HEAD throwing orbs (blue orbs).

I've got one for you guys!

It's been shown off at GB at least a couple times. You pilot a spaceship and takes presentation cues from old school anime. Appears to handle a bit like Asteroid, where you spin your ship around and then boost in a particular direction. The gameplay I saw had enemy ships on patrol that could be avoided or engaged. I think there were also different enemy factions that would fight each other.

It was on GB fairly recently (maybe a couple months ago...?) Always thought it looked super fun!

Someone can help I saw the last video of pewdiepie and the second game (with the baby) remind me of a game I played 5-10 years ago and I was wondering if anyone know the name. In the game you start in the hall of your house and your wife is not there so you decide to take a look around to see if you can find clues. After putting wood in the fire you hear your baby crying so you go upstairs and there's a demon with your baby in his arm. He disappear and you are now in front of a castle where I was stuck because the only thing I was able to do was to look behind me its a click genre game where you click in arrow to move hope someone will find it I was playing this on my computer

This is actually a trailer and not a game, so I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place for it, but I remember seeing a trailer (on GB, I think) within the last year or so. All I remember is that it was on a large ship, and some guys were doing some sort of military operation. I think there were stealth components, and dudes had giant sniper rifles or something. The setting would probably be near-future-ish; maybe some new technology like invisible camouflage or something. It stuck in my mind because I thought it seemed pretty cool even though it wasn't the kind of game I'd normally play. I thought it might be Metal Gear, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone remember watching this trailer?

Hi all!

I'm looking for a game from maybe 1995-1997 on PC (i think it was DOS only) which I played on a shareware cd so I don't played the full version.

You were play as a blonde guy with a really big and ridiculous head and he had a purple skateboard kinda thing if I remember right. After the game started you were spinning through space towards a planet and you could control where

you land. Once you land you had to do a random minigame like moving towards a place and avoiding some hazardous plants

which would eat you. After you won the minigame you get to some kind of ancient city and the demo was over and you could restart the game. I hope somebody will remember this game.

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english :)

@thankyougiantbomb: Are you certain it isn't any sort of Metal Gear trailer? That sounds a lot like the trailer for MGS2 they showed on the It's Just a Bonus episode of Metal Gear Scanlon and it is also vaguely similar to one of the MGS5 trailers (the one that takes place on a ship where they are sending a body overboard). The other possible option would be Resident Evil Revelations. It takes place on a ship and I'm pretty sure there are enemies with snipers in the game and you do play as at least one military operative.

@raven10: It definitely would have been in the last couple of years (around E3 2013/2014), so I don't think it was an MGS2 trailer (I also remember it looking pretty good). MGS5 sounds right, but I've looked at all of the GB trailers and none of them seem to fit. Same with RE Revelations. I feel like it was more of a cinematic trailer, with a team of dudes in black doing some sort of nighttime stealth mission. No zombies or anything like that.

@lucien21: I really though it was the game when I watched the gameplay but 1: there's no castle in your game. 2: the baby is younger and don't cry before he got kidnapped. 3: the arrow are normal and white not grey medieval style. 4: there's no teleportation machine you jump in the portal the monsters created.to land in front of the castle 5: there's not that much clue in my game, no weird computer, science machine, fuse and ladder who lead to the roof. 6: the monster is black with smoke around him he don't look like a troll or goblin 7: at the start of the game there's a cinematic where it show you enter in the house and call your wife but nobody respond. 8: I don't think you have a inventory and if you do it's not really big. 9: I'm really trying to think about other details that could help you but it's very hard

This may be an impossible case, but maybe somebody will know the game I am talking about. When I was a kid, I grew up collecting magazines including ones for PC that my dad bought for me. The magazines used to have disks filled with demos of games (back in the 90's). The game I would love to find again has you starting off on-top of a building in a sc-fi blade runner sorta setting. The game was a click and point, and had the player trying to open a door that led down some stairs to escape.

Also does anybody here prefer old tech? I love my PC, but nothing beats having an old ass computer.
