So duders,
You guys are the internet authority on video games right? Would you be kind and help me choose a game to waste my time for the next month?

Here are some of the games I saw at the BestBuy the other day:

Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts

I kinda enjoyed the original and the sequel and yes I know it`s not really a platformer anymore but the characters and vehicles seem cool. I watched the most recent TNT (one of the best TNTs in a while) and it made me want to buy it.

Gears of War

I played the sequel some time ago and had a good time playing co-op on the hardest difficulty. I have no interest in Gears multiplayer other than Horde, so can this game provide a great experience on it`s singleplayer campaign only?

Skate 3

Skate 2 is my favorite (alternative) sports game. I spent so many hours jumping off the SV damn. I've run out of things to do in San Vanelona, so is it worth taking the trip to Port Carverton?

Burnout Paradise

Honestly NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 was the only good NFS game other than Most Wanted. Criterion was the reason for that. I have played Burnout 3 and Revenge and quite enjoyed them. I heard this was open world and focused on online play. Is the community still active?

Alan Wake

I played Max Payne once many years ago. It was the scene where he walks towards a crib or something to that effect. That is my only experience with Remedy games. Recently I've been hearing a lot of good praise for this and a lot of pissed off people regarding it not making it into the GOTY talks.

I'll be getting Infamousse 2 but I feel like I need a nice companion to it and these games have been on my radar for some time now. The next few weeks are literally the only time I'll be able to play games intensively for a while. Might as well take advantage of this free time. I understand that these games are almost all completely different but if you had to choose, which one would it be?

Alan Wake is an amazing game, but only about 10 hours (A few more if you get all the DLC)
If you want a longer game, though, then get Burnout. That game can last you multiple hours. Such a fun game, especially with friends.

I am also in love with the Skate series.  Skate 3 is great, but it's very similar to Skate 2.  If you liked the second game, you'll like the third as well but don't expect any huge improvements.

First 4 replies are for four different games, this doesn't help...
