The Next Endurance Run After Chrono Trigger?

Watching all the Endurance episodes till the end just reminded me how much I still love this game. I hope many more gamers will give this game a chance. But now that it's over, what suggestions do you have for Ryan and Patrick? Or anyone else on the GB crew?

One option would be to continue on the Chrono Trigger train and do an Endurance Run of Chrono Cross, which is the spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger. I tend to think of Radical Dreamers more of a spinoff than a sequel, since it tells a different story.

Another game I'd like to see made an Endurance Run is Terranigma. I think that game has as many plot twists, endearing moments, and awesome battles as Chrono Trigger. Not to mention one of the best stories that have ever been told in a video game.

What other games do you want to see being put in an Endurance Run?

As always, I say they should play what they want when they want to do another of these. If they don't enjoy it, the ER will suffer. They don't need our suggestions- they know about video games too =)

What do you guys think the endurance run after the next endurance run is going to be???

Unless Vinny and Jeff both come out and say that they want to do an endurance run and they found the perfect game to do so I don't care about no endurance run.

That said while the Chrono Trigger ER wasn't my cup of tea, I'm glad others enjoyed themselves.

True, but its also called "Endurance Run." Enjoyment is not suppose to be throughout. They need to suffer at least a little bit.

After hearing a bunch about it but not wanting to play them myself, I wouldn't mind watching either a Witcher 2 or Metro endurance run. . . I'd actually sorta prefer shorter games but then it defeats the Endurance part of endurance run.

I think there were about 4 similar threads locked yesterday.

Knowing the duders, there will NEVER be a Chrono Cross ER. And there shouldn't be, that game had a terrible story. Fantastic battle system, music, artistic style, and premise...but horrid story and characters. 
 
We won't be getting an ER in awhile, and that's probably for the best.
 
That being said, I still hold that Yakuza 4 or Nier would be great. Quirky, niche Japanese games that are long and that the duders showed interest in seeing (during their respective QLs), but wouldn't normally play.

There will never be another Endurance Run, at least not another one for a long time. And to be honest, I really hope there is never another ER considering the constant bitching from the GB staff about producing one. It just gets annoying that they are always complaining about people asking for a ER and then when they finally do one they half ass it so horribly and then are somehow surprised when people bitch.

I know it's kinda stupid, but I feel as though it really is a possibility that they fashioned this ER with the knowledge or hope that people would complain so much that they always have an excuse to never do one ever again.

Also, I'm not one of those people that complains about every little thing about the CT ER and I actually watched the whole thing, but it did really disappoint me that they took something amazingly unique and entertaining and turned it into something fairly dull, frustrating, and boring to watch.

My uncle works at Giant Bomb and he said that they are doing Need for Speed Underground 2 next.

After the Metric Fuck Ton of bitching so many users did about this last one I doubt they will ever do another one, the comments under each of the CT ER videos is both hilarious and SAD fucking SAD there are some Very Sad lonely fucking worthless people on this site.

I would Love FUCKING love to see another one I could care less what it is as all 3 of the ERs are my favorite content on this site with Load my Last Save and Old Pc Game tied for 2nd, damn you all to hell for causing the possible death of the ER, I hope it..endures.

@DoctorWelch: I didn't find the Chrono Trigger run to be dull, frustrating, or boring to watch in any way whatsoever, and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people who agree with me. I also fail to see how it was done "half ass," seeing as how they did exactly what they set out to do - play though the game.

They beat it, overcoming every obstacle that the people in the comments said they wouldn't, and as someone who hasn't played Chrono Trigger - nor has any hate towards Ryan or Patrick - I thought it was quite entertaining.

I'm sorry you couldn't let yourself enjoy it. I really am.

Needs to be a game that not many people have heard of and will be crazy idolmaster 2! put that Japanese xbox to use.

If they did an endurance run where they did it live and had an intern read out the viewers' fucking rage-filled comments about what they're doing wrong (all contradictory) while whoever is playing the game slowly went mad, that'd fucking be something.

I'm not going to suggest anything as I'm kinda worn out from the ER, lost interest once they began to do the side quests and Patrick.....ugh, but I'm asking are the other ER's worth watching? I P4 is like 100 hours but if it's good (Vinny is gold in my book) I will watch it but is Dead Premonition a good ER?

Stop this please. Your killing any hope of an other ER. They probably won't ever do another Endurance Run since most of you fucks ruined it. Serves you right.

No. No. A thousand times no. That game is terrible.

You know if you need your Endurance Run fix when there isn't an Endurance Run going on you should totally check out the Super Replay series GameInformer has on their website, it's basically the same thing. The Overblood, Megaman Legends, and Tail Of The Sun series are great.

Those three were pretty great. Overblood 2 so far has been.. not as amazing as I would have hoped, I guess. But yes, the Super Replays over at Game Informer are pretty good and help give you that Endurance Run fix. The regular Replays are pretty good too most of the time.
