Real history? You mean my German textbooks lied to me when they said that there was no anime Holocaust? Seriously, why do I get the vibe that you don't like JRPGs?
There really is no games journalism, because any instance of real journalism gets a writer less access to the people he needs to know to do his job. There are games writers, I don't believe there are really games journalists.
And you'd probably get further on the 'scholarly' aspect of this if you removed the emotional outbursts. I'm not commentating on the content, merely the presentation.
