I'd recently watched the May 24th, 2013 UPF (one of Ryan's last) in which Vinny demos a reader submitted all-in-one video game console/system/controller from Dream Gear containing OVER 100 GAMES. To extrapolate the quality of the games demonstrated, it's a bit of a mixed bag of NES, Master System and EGA shareware.

The single stand out element is that every game had a fairly aspirational title card, in some cases more entertaining than the game itself. So, I took a screenshot of every single one. There were a few cases in which the game booted straight into the first screen and those were politely ignored.

Of the 101 available, just under 60 were played and 54 had title cards. I've included caps of the menus as well.

Please enjoy.

@msx2: A mixture of boredom and tenacity. Thought it could be fun from a design perspective to see them all laid out at once. Also, thanks.

I don't why you've done this. I also don't know why I like it.

The one that's called surfer with a picture of a guy snowboarding is probably my favorite.

It'd be fun to figure out how many of those games contain stolen assets. I'm going to guess pretty much all of them.

@cloudymusic: Not as many as you'd think. Some steal a sound, a background cloud, etc.
