The "What I like about GB" Thread

I like the fact that GB is more in touch with the user driven content. GS pretends to give a crap about what their users think, but I think we all know how well that goes over on their forums. This place feels like an oldschool hangout forum which a lot of us older guys used to be a part of before Web 2.0/Myspace/Facebook etc took over.

This place kind of feels like an actual forum/gaming website rather than a media driven cash cow.

I love the semi-wiki style thing. It'll mean you get super detailed pages and means jeff, ryan, brad and vinny don't need to write too much... Wait a minute... THEY ARE MAKING US DO THEIR WORK FOR THEM!!!!! SCREW THAT I'M OUTA HERE!!!!!!

Just kidding. But yeah, I like the wikiness of it.

The hosts, and the sarcasm =D

Jeff, Brad, Ryan and Vinny and the whole Wiki thing is awesome

I like the intuitiveness of the interface and all the jazzy features.

I like how easy the forums are to navigate and the whole wiki thing.

It's got electrolytes.

The editors and the community aspect

First and foremost, the staff.

The actual site is awesome too, but I would've followed these editors to any other site too.

everything. this is what I have wanted, and this is what i got.... amazing,
a kicking ass editorial team, people who care, a nice community, and one
of the best site layouts ever.

Definitely the personalities involved. Jeff Gertsmann is the dog.
