There's a new Death Race movie?!?!

Totally saw a trailer for a new Death Race movie at the "THE DARK KNIGHT" showing. Any takers on how bad its gonna be, and how bad the obvious video game tie-in is going to be?
Or is the idea that this film could actually get a  terrible video game tie-in expecting too much?

I saw the Death Race trailer before I saw Wanted. It has Jason Statham in it, nuff said.

But seriously, I actually thought that it didn't look terrible, but that's about as far as I'll go with the optimism.

Ian Mcshane is in it and I love that guy.  So I'll defiantly see it.  It will end up being one of those awful movies that is entertaining.

Looks like total ass. The original was awesome. Full of blood, sex, and gratuitous nudity. It was loads of fun. This looks like it takes itself WAY too seriously. Plus its directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. The genius behind Alien Vs. Predator....and Resident Evil. Nuff said. Its going to be a giant turd.
