Now you say 2011 will have a new Elder Scrolls game, a new Deus EX game, and TWO new bioware games, What could be missing from that?
I'll tell you what, a sequel to one of my favorite games of all time, Prince of Persia 2008. The Nolan North Prince of Persia, I actually like Mr. North in this role more than Drake. Anyways I think Prince of Persia 2008 is one of the best games of this Generation, and it was clearly made with at least one more game in mind, So Ubisoft finish it please.
They need to make this, come on!!

I thought the Prince in that game was really annoying, and that the game relied too much on backtracking in order to find collectibles everywhere.
So, I disagree.
I'll be honest with you and say I didn't play TOO much of the game due to the silly gameplay, but if the story is really worth going back to, maybe they could incorporate it with the next game in the franchise, but with the gameplay more like the new one.
Wow, what a horrible sentence. I apologise for that, grammar isn't with me at this time of night.
I liked it a lot. More than the other POP games other than the original Sands of Time. I will say though that there was a bit too much backtracking and the combat could be a little more engaging. Definitely interested in a sequel.
Prince of Persia '08 was all right... too much backtracking and it was far too easy. But hey, I beat it, so I'd be down for sequel. If they ever make one (which they won't).
I do agree that that game was a lot of fun and I would like to see another. I especially liked the art style (and of course Nolan North!).

" @scarace360 said:Then i got nothing for ya buddy." What if instead of prince of Persia it was uncharted. "no >.> "
" I didn't enjoy how there was no risk of death in the game. "There is no risk in death in any game.
You do die in POP08, just instead of saying "you died, press start to try again" It just starts automatically without loading.
" @trophyhunter said:Fair is fair I suppose" I don't really get the backtracking compliant and the people that said no are assholes. "And the people who said yes are pussies. "

"Liking him more than the Drake version is a bit far, but I liked the stupid dialog in the 2008 Prince as well. I also liked that I could just not listen to it if I didn't care. That game was alright. I liked it quite a bit, but I could live without another one. But hey, that is me.
" @trophyhunter: I thoroughly enjoyed POP 08 as well. I can't wait until they follow it up! I really really enjoyed the Prince and Elika's dynamic as characters. Fun game too. "Yeah I'd love to just hear more Prince and Elika conversations
I completely agree It is an underrated game that I really enjoyed and would love for Ubisoft to make a sequel to it. Glam I"m not the only one.

I have a feeling they'll never make another one of these. The game was pretty good and looked pretty but I mostly remember having the feeling throughout that there was something missing from it, the only bit I remember being really impressed with was when you had to scramble up the hot air balloons.
The lack of death is kinda a non-issue.

POP '08 was brilliant. Definitely one of the best looking games this generation, if nothing else. I don't really feel like it needs a sequel though; I was happy with how it ended. Actually, parts of the ending were genius - the failed double jump ended the discussion on 'games as art' for me.
Game was alright. Gameplay was a drag at times but fun most of the time, a bit on the easy side with some of the timing. Characters were "likeable" but..
I didn't like the world. I know the other PoP games were pretty much devoid of population for various reasons but they at least had enemies to fill it up some, this one just felt empty. And nowhere did it seem like people once lived there.
I didn't like the story. Something something, ancient darkness, and in the end you undo everything for the lulz. The twist with Elika was alright, so were the conversations, I think. I don't remember any of them.
I hated the bossfights. Partly because combat was not fun, but also because you never died. It dragged them out unbearably, giving you no natural breaks. Also, to many repeats.
And lastly: where is my endless going back in time potion? That's a way more fun way to never die than a "magical girl to the rescue" canned animation.
Still, I guess a lot of what I didn't like could be adressed in a sequel, or they could just re-reboot it. Just don't go back to the Sands of Time universe at this time. That story is done.
