TNT Idea for the new format

With the idea to add variety to TNT I figured I would throw out a suggestion I would love to see.

The guys should play some Halo: Combat Evolved lan in the office. 8 players on 2 tvs and relive the glory days. Anybody else think this would be a good idea? Could do this before the rerelease to make it more relevant.

Not a bad idea. Maybe have a ladder, kinda like the scrub leagues? Or just have a Halo scrub league.... but would it make sense to do that?

I don't know how often the folks in the office play halo, but i haven't played halo (any of them) in YEARS.

I would say once every 3 months would be enough... only because I feel like they would burn through all those games you can play tournament style like that.

They need to do a full-party co-op game of the original Baldur's Gate. That would make me a happy man.

Plus, seeing Brad pull a Brad and get killed by the gibberlings right at the beginning would make my year.

Play a game of Joust while both players are suspended over a pit of hammerhead sharks.

Yeah local events would be cool. I had the idea of having member-exclusive tournaments but the biggest problem there is that it might narrow down the games available and would have to do it occasionally; it doesn't really put it on a negative spot though.

well with Diablo 3 coming soon, I say get everyone to play D2 from the beginning

@WickedCobra03: Plus it's probably pretty hard to get a bunch of people in the office to all have some spare time to participate.

Ok, this is a weird one but they should play the GTA San Andreas multiplayer mod for the PC. There are probably people still playing it and oh my god was it crazy.

I like the scrub league thing, would also find it cool if they did the same thing with the community in some way.  (GB tourneys, but with them being on TNT, maybe have the GB guys participate/commentate)  That'd be funny.

Halo 1 scrub league would be awesome. Did the first Halo have a FFA mode? I can't seem to recall...
