Update broke my FALLOUT!! :(

So I was playing Vegas yesterday night perfectly. I'm up to the part where I finally see the legion and I decide to go to bed (class in the morning). I come back from school the next day and put in Vegas and there's an update live! Yeah fixes loading problems right? Yeah a bitt, but every time I go into V.A.T.S it completely freezes and have to reset my 360. It's happened every time I go into vats... I've tried installing it and turning my system on/off. I don't care how good this game is. It was shipped to buggy, I'm going to exchange it for a new copy but I swear it's the game itself

should exchange it for the PC version, a new xbox copy wouldn't fix your problem o.O

My guess is the update borked your save up.    its nothing to do with your disc.    
 
does it still freeze if you start a new game or load a old save file?
 

Yeah, the update made the laser burn some new data into the game so now it breaks...

i just posted a workaround which should apparently fix the vats freeze. I posted it in the other thread that was linked.
