Update on Smash Bros Tournament for those who called

There are Two tournaments Back to Back
1vs1! and 2vs2! JAN. 24th 2009 (4 days away!) BURBANK, CA @ Noon

We have 32 contestants from all over CA. But the more the merrier!
San Diego, San Jose, Medesto, San Bernadino, Las Vegas, NV- Even a guy from Costa Rica!
[ also Isai -#1 Ranking in Smash is coming again ]

- DOUBLES are taking place before the SINGLES.
$13 per person entrance fee for singles tournament. (No buy-In)
This entrance fee entitles you to free food and drinks and a chance to WIN

1st Place: $200 CASH
2nd Place: $90 CASH and
3rd Place $30 CASH

There is also a $10 entrance fee per player for doubles (No Buy-In)
(only if you wish to play 2v2 but dont have a partner, there will be plenty of players to team with there)
Double Elimination, 5 stock, Team Attack ON, No items, No time limit

*1v1 are Best of 3 and Finals are Best of 5
*2v2 are Not

- STAGE/CHARACTER PICKS: for SINGLES

First round stage is random unless both players agree on a stage

Neutral Stages: Hyrule Castle, Kongo Jungle, Kirby's Dreamland, and Peach's Castle
Counter Stage: Saffron City

Advanced Slob Picks - Loser may opt to choose next stage or go random, then winner may choose to change character, then loser may change character

However for those who want other stages as counters such as Zebes,
If BOTH PLAYERS AGREE to a stage, ANY stage, they may play on it.
If BOTH PLAYERS DO NOT AGREE, this is ANNULLED (no longer valid) and reverts back to regulation shown above.
