For reasons I won't go into here my Xbox Live account was recently deleted. I subsequently recovered it and found that 80-85%percent of the 150+ games saves that where associated with the account had been deleted. One week later I got a 320GB PS3. Now there is no point going back to my 360 account because I have lost all my progress in all my games. I now have a dilemma. Should I trade in all of these now debunk Xbox 360 games that I own or hang onto them anyway because of the money I would effectively lose by trading them in.

The games are:
Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow
Mafia 2
NFS: Hot Pursuit
Enslaved
Fallout: New Vegas
COD: Black Ops
Fable:3
Halo: Reach

I can't see myself going back to these games again, so what should I do. Thats a lot of games to trade in. Any help would be appreciated.

Only hold on to the ones you love. I would trade the rest as they're as good as an empty box to you.

You could also sell them online, but each of those games will give you a pretty penny as trade-ins. They're all rather new, and still worth some dollars.

Sell them or trade them in if you can't see yourself playing them again. If you end up going back to your X360 later, get the games you really care about. They'll probably be cheaper anyways.

As somebody who doesn't own an Xbox360: How does that work? I thought your savegames would still be stored on your local harddrive, not XboxLive.

About topic itself: If you really don't want ever to go back to them: Sell them. If you want to still see how they end: Wait a year or two, by then you will have forgotten all the details of the story anyway and will have fun reexperiencing it (even so a weird feeling of DejaVu might pop up here and there).

I'm not entirely sure but I think your saved games are tied to your profile. My profile was deleted.

Thanks everyone btw for the great advice. Games are about the experience in the end and I'm not really in the business of hanging onto games just because they will look good on a shelf. None of these games really did anything for me tbh. For instance I'm deep into an FFVIII play through....

Keep the exclusives and trade the rest in an online service like CheapAssGamer. Don't go to gamestop

If you're worried about trade in value, then I suggest craigslist. However, I suggest that you hang onto them. I know that you have no reason to play them now, but there's that time in the future that you wish you hung onto that game so you can play it again.

I'd try to sell them online yourself.
A lot of those games are hot titles that could probably net you some good coin.

I've been mostly successful selling on eBay.
