I'm not sure if this has been mentioned (delete if so), but the thumbnails on the front page are tacky and unclear. I figure this could be an easy fix, but removing the play/headphone/premium icon, or even just moving it to the top or bottom corner would help immensely. With the icon directly in the center of the image, you can't see what is going on. Then you have to either make out what the image is, or read the lengthy description to see what the video is all about. It would be nice if the icons were redesigned so that they could fit in the corner (maybe opaque?). Also, every static video image ends up looking the same at first glance.

I guess my personal issue is that play buttons on videos that do not play on that specific page are atrocious. They are semi-misleading the first time you think they are going to play without loading a separate page, then are just obstructive. I understand in this case the icons are meant to categorize videos, but if that is their only purpose it could be done so much better. I don't know. Sorry for talking about something that may seem ultimately benign, but I just feel that sometimes I miss content due to aesthetics.

I'm a bit confused. There is a clear headline accompanying all videos, which tells you what the content is for... not sure what the issue is, here.

The large central overlays you are taking beef with are very helpful to someone like me who wants to see at a glance whether the content is video, audio, premium, or other/article. The thumbnail usually does not give you nearly as much info as the headline does, in my opinion.
