Well Blizzard just lost a fan *spoilers*

Arthas dies in WoW... 
  
I'm a fan of Warcraft and well I always wanted the story to continue in Warcraft 4. However Blizzard decided to screw over the fans of the RTS and finish the story in the shitty Wow. The story telling in WoW is pretty shit at the best of times but if you're going to tell a story, then fucking finish it in the genre you created it. I want the story of Arthas to be told in the next Warcraft RTS... not the fucking MMO which is a repetitive boring grindfest.

That really sucks! Arthas was my favourite character of the Warcraft, him and illidan. 

It was expected. I'm not disappointed with Arthas dieing. See it more as freeing him from his prison? The ending video is interesting to continue the lore of the Lich King. Do I see a RTS within the Warcraft lore? Nah, they can establish stories and characters in a MMO and let Starcraft run around as their RTS, while Diablo plays as their Action Rpg. When you have millions more playing an MMORPG, why go back to the roots that isn't as casual friendly?   

Atleast with each major boss kill, there has been a major character involved with the fights so lore can show that "Big Shoulder Pad Hero" destroyed "Big Shoulder Pad Enemy." Much better than rag tag group of 25 people, led by Grand Marshall Pwnzor.

Nah they just released a patch in WoW Where players are able to kill the Lich King.  Basically the player kills him and it gives them a cutscene as a reward of Arthas (The Lich King) disappearing with his ghost father, and then some flaming dude becomes the new Lich King.   I dunno. "

well I'm sure they are really hurting their loss

 
Arthas and the Lich King are not the same thing and there will not be anymore Warcraft RTSs, based on lore that has been milked dry.   Its time to move on. 
 
As I long time fan of Warcraft.  This was a great ending to a fantastic story.  IF there is another RTS, I damn sure don't want a damn remake of frozen throne.  I want something new.  
 
Also.  The story has to be finished before the movie can come out.  

I love Arthas, and now he's gone. Good thing I stopped playing WoW a long time ago.

There is never going to be a Warcraft 4.

I'm sure they're losing fans all the way to the bank.
