I thought that would be the next step for PC Parts Picker's website. They would take you parts list and then arrange the parts in it. You can then go in and arrange things they way you want, like say flip the PSU over so that it draws from the bottom and exhausts out the back. Once you have the parts arrange and choose the colors of the standard cabling the system would look 95% like it would in real life.

I thought that would be the next step for PC Parts Picker's website.

They have been successfully partnering up with lots of brands. It might make sense to try and tie into PC Parts Picker's database to set up compatibility for legacy parts.

I know I really want to build my own somewhat older computer...

Also, I want to be able to smash it with a bat and flamethrower... and accidentally electrocute myself or knock out the power in the room. Not sure if they're planning on adding that level of freedom to it or if the partners they're with will go all "Gran Turismo car company" on them and say "no damaging stuff" or something similar.
