What Are Your Launch Games?

For those of you who are going to be getting a next generation console over the next several weeks, what games do you plan on getting? I normally would only get one or two titles, but since I got rid of my Xbox 360 and most of the games I owned for the system (as I either owned them on PC through Steam or didn't care to ever go back to them) I ended up having some extra spending money on games. The titles I decided to get are:

1. Killzone:Shadow Fall

2. Battlefield 4

3. Assassin's Creed 4

4. Knack

5. Call of Duty: Ghosts

6. Need For Speed: Rivals

As I said, typically I wouldn't get this many games at launch but I figured since I had the extra money I would go for it since the next game I want to get is conceivably inFamous: Second Son and that won't be out until sometime later in Q1. Not to mention there really isn't anything a Steam sale would do for me (outside of Borderlands 2 DLC) so I should be set. That being said, what games do you plan on picking up for your Xbone or PS4? Is there anything you feel "obligated" to pick up or something that you don't feel you could pick the system up without?

Edit: I would say that free games that we are going to get like Contrast, Rezogun, or Killer Instinct are givens considering 100% of people will have those if they have an online subscription.

@asurastrike: I like Warframe on PC and have played it for about a year now. I think I have liked it a little less in recent months because of all the sweeping changes they have made to the game, but if you go into matchmaking and play then you will have a good time. I might pick up DCUO again for a little play time here and there as I had a Green Lantern style character I enjoyed.

I know I'm picking up Killzone Shadowfall and Knack. I know I'm renting Lego Marvel. I'm still trying to decide if I want to buy or rent AC4, BF4, and Need for Speed. I'm thinking of doing the Target buy two get one free on those last three.

If I keep my XBO pre-order I would probably buy Dead Rising 3 and rent Ryse.

Maybe COD on PS4 but I generally get my FPS love in Planetside 2 these days.

Oh and I guess I get Fifa 14 on Xbox 1 for free....so that's a game, I might, maybe, one day..... play.

If there was a Target near me, I would seriously consider picking up Assassin's Creed IV (my first since II), Knack, and either that Lego Marvel game or Injustice if they were all in stock before launch since they have that B2G1 Free deal going on this week.

@smtdante89: I hit platinum in Lego Marvel Super Heroes last week. I thought that game was pretty fun.

I already own Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed 4, since you get the cheap upgrade from PS3 for them. I probably won't pick up the PS4 until late December or even January though.

I'm getting Battlefield 4 and Killzone Shadow Fall with my PS4, then Assassins Creed IV and NBA 2K14 a week later.

Knack, Assassin Creed 3, Resogun, Maybe Another Indie Game.

Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon maybe, Killer Instinct maybe. I dunno.

Assassins Creed IV, Battlefield 4, Killzone and FIFA 14.

Feel like I cover all bases with those 4 games.

Getting the PS4 mega bundle, so Killzone and the PS+ games for sure. Will likely get FIFA 14 and BF4 as well. Never got around to playing Warframe on PC, so will give that a shot on PS4, shame the 'pre-order' bonuses aren't available in the UK though.

Shadow Fall, Contrast, Resogun, Flow, Flower and War Thunder will hold me over until around Christmas time. Might pick up something like Tiny Brains or Switch Galaxy Ultra to try out some of the downloadable stuff too.
Might pick up Black Flag, Ghosts, BF4 and Knack in the January sales if there is a price drop.

None of them interest me. The only next gen game I saw that looked cool was inFamous but that's a ways away and it's not a system seller.

It depends on how much I can afford/How silly I am feeling at the time but here are a few:

Anyone who says these launch lineups suck are just kidding themselves. While I don't care for Killzone, and don't have any interest in Knack, they too look like good games.

Dead Rising 3 and BF4 are the only good looking launch games.

I just got back from price matching Target's buy 2 get 1 free at Best Buy, so here's how it's going to be for a few weeks:

(Speaking of which, I got ultra lucky and the store manager let me match the deal even through preorder items as long as they came out this week, which is why I have NFS:R)

While I was originally going to do the deal with XBO as well and get Ryse/Forza too, something was going on with their system and they couldn't add Ryse for sale at all. Which I guess is good, as there's a lot of mixed messaging out there right now. If more positive reviews/info comes out by Thursday night, I might just do the deal again then, else maybe it'll be Lego Marvel.

Battlefield 4 and Assassins Creed 4 is what im buying. Will also be playing Resougun, Contrast, and Warframe.

You should skip CoD: Ghosts. The PS4 and Xbone versions have the same problems the PC version has(microstutters, sudden freezing in the main menu etc). Wait for a patch.

Gonna stop by Target before I pickup my PS4 at Gamestop since they are in the same shopping center. If Target has Killzone and Assassin's Creed 4, then I'll get Battlefield 4 for free, otherwise it'll just be the first two.

I only game on PC, but now that the next generation of consoles is coming out,I will buy a 360 and PS3 to play the console exclusives. I want to start playing them in a rough order from older to newer (with exceptions).

I definitely want NFS:Rivals and Lego Marvel. AC4 I guess.. People said the boat stuff is cool? /shrug.. I've got the other 3 main games. Killzone because I'd hope it'd be a nice display for the new system? Not big on FPS games on a console but whatever. Knack because it seems like a good 'ol fashioned simple video game and should look pretty for the system. I don't really expect much else out of it but it'll probably be more interesting than Killzone.

Also whatever is available for free with PS+.
