Hi all having just player mark of the ninja this question came to mind. Most of my friends had never heard of the game and I think it is because of the lack of marketing.

This made me think what great games I might of missed or avoided due to shitty marketing.

This should go without saying, but this is all opinion so please no one shout at me or others for their opinion on either shitty marketing or what they think are good games.

Bulletstorm comes to mind. I don't even know if that turned out to be a good game or not, but that shitty marketing made my soul die a little bit.

The story of Double Fine and Psychonauts could be completely different today if not for Microsoft dropping and Majesco taking it.

But then again, maybe we wouldn't be having the amazing Double Fine Adventure documentary, so I'm okay with that.

I think Company of Heroes 2 is heading down this path right this very minute.

Nier, which had close to no publicity.
