So what have has been your Favourite, Expanisons/DLC/ Add ons. I like all the fallout 3 Dlc but I think my favourite might be Point Lookout. Also the Beyond the Sword Expansion for Civ 4 was also really good.
What has been your favourite Expanisons/DLC/ Add ons.
Secret Armory of General Knox for Borderlands 1 was quite amazing. It added a whole lot of things to do, a raid boss and more crazy loot.
Lair of the Shadowbroker for Mass Effect 2 wasn't bad either, had a right feel to it despite the short span.
I'd say Rock Band DLC in general but I feel that's cheating in some way, and there's so much I like that picking out a couple would be extremely difficult.
I'll avoid mentioning any DLC already mentioned (though I really do love Point Lookout, it's just a shame that it's almost unplayable in the PS3 version of Fallout 3) I'll go with Big Surf Island in Burnout: Paradise. That stuff was just really fun.
In the age of DLC, Undead Nightmare is by far the best to me, though I suppose that is partially because it really is a throw back to the days of expansions. The "Halloween episode" feel was truly flawless.
Big Surf Island - Burnout Paradise. Focused on stunts and cool cars. Tiny area packed with places to go and stuff to smash.
Corkscrew Follies / Added Attractions - RollerCoaster Tycoon. Added a "no entry" sign, which was pretty much the only glaring flaw in the game.
Team Fortress 2 - Radically different from the original 2007 release. Each update has been free.

Lost In Nightmares on Resident Evil 5.
Yup. That's the closest we will ever get to another survival horror Resident Evil ever again.
Shadow Broker is the one that leaps out at me. Maybe I'll rescind this as more replies come in.
Although this one is good:

Tribunal and Bloodmoon for Morrowind.
Loved this DLC/expansion, to think I remember reading that rockstar plans on small DLC in the future.... that means only one thing... Horse Armour.
All the Fallout 3 DLC's were great.
The Ballad of Gay Tony was fantastic.
Mass Effect 2's Overlord was insane.
Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends. Love the DW series, and not only did it have the underrated Xtreme Mode, it also had Destiny Mode, which is still the most fun I've ever had with the series.
The Frozen Throne.
Beyond the Dark Portal.
The Burning Crusade. (man I'm a Warcraft addict...)
AOE2: The Conquerers.
The Shivering Isles.
Minerva's Den for the best DLC for an average game (Bioshock 2). Minerva's Den is incredible; probably the DLC I enjoyed the most...ever.
Others include:
- Battlefield Vietnam (Battlefield Bad Company 2)
- Point Lookout (Fallout 3)
- Overlord (Mass Effect 2)
- Dragonborn (Skyrim)
- Old World Blues/Lonesome Road (Fallout New Vegas)
- RAAM's Shadow (Gears of War 3)
- Ballad of Gay Tony (GTA4)
- Undead Nightmare (RDR)
- Shadow Broker (Mass Effect 2)
- The Zoo Tycoon expansions.
- The expansions for the original Sims and some of Sims 2.
- Dawn of War's Winter Assault and Dark Crusade expansions.
- WoW's Burning Crusade.
- Most of the Fallout 3 DLC.
- Most of the Borderlands DLC.
- Mass Effect 2's Shadow Broker.
- GTA IV's The Ballad of Gay Tony.
- Bioshock 2's Minerva's Den (Dear God, why has nobody said Minerva's Den yet?)
This may sound a little weird, but bear with: the Heroic and Mythic Map Packs for Halo 3, which added Foundry and Sandbox, 2 maps which completely changed Forge mode for me, made me play that game for far longer than I would have.
@Hizang: The Shivering Isles should be a master class on how to design DLC.
I think Dragon Age Awakening should get a mention for being a full on expansion to a console game that was weird. I also really like ME2's Lair of the Shadow Broker and New Vegas' Old World Blues. Oh and finally Costume Quests dlc because it was more costume quest and at the end of the original gamE I wanted onE more level.

Throne of Bhaal, for Baldur's Gate II.
Hordes of the Underdark, for Neverwinter Nights.
Mask of the Betrayer, for Neverwinter Nights 2.
Well I guess I don't need to make a post now.....

Warcraft 3: The Frozen throne.
This.
As for DLC, I really enjoyed Point Lookout for Fallout 3, Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2 and Minerva's Den for Bioshock 2.
Tribunal for Morrowind. It had everything that game was missing. At least at the time I felt totally lost in those big caves and dungeon levels. I also loved the ending when you discover the clockwork city of Sotha Sil. Damn impressive.
Didn´t really get into Bloodmoon, but I´m exploring Solstheim right now in Dragonborn and I like it a lot. Shivering Isles was also pretty good, but for some reason I liked Knights of the Nine better. It fit with the rest of Oblivion.
Guess I really like Elder Scrolls, huh?
@Hizang said:
Everybody else is wrong, the correct answer is the Shivering Isle DLC for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
QFT
Shivering Isles was an amazing setting. You can't ever have enough Sheogorath.
-Levianthan (Mass Effect 3)
-Undead Nightmare (Red Dead Redemption)
-Ballad of Gay Tony (Grand Theft Auto IV)
-Lost and the Damned (Grand Theft Auto IV)
-Lair of the Shadow Broker (Mass Effect 2)
-Omega (Mass Effect 2)
-Gangstas in Space (Saints Row: The Third)
-Harley Quinn's Revenge (Batman: Arkham City)
When thinking about this list it definitely seems like DLC is done well from only a few developers, Bethesda, Gearbox, Bioware and Rockstar (on consoles). It's so true and it's fucking heartbreaking.@GunGunW said:

Both the GTA IV Episodes, Mass Effect 2 DLC , the Fallout 3 and New Vegas DLC and Dawnguard for Skyrim.
I haven't bought a ton of DLC. The Lonesome Road for New Vegas stands out as a hi-light to me. I always liked the long structured mission dlc's more than the Tiny Open World dlc's for the new FO games. I thought that the Dark Souls DLC "Artorias of the Abyss" or whatever it was called was pretty cool, too.
I have yet to find any DLC worth the money. My favourite expansions however were Yuri's Revenge for Command and Conquer 2, and the Company of Heroes expansions.
I rarely bother with dlc, myself.
That said, I enjoyed pretty much everything that New Vegas had to offer.
Question.
Would anyone recommend the dlc for Ensalved? Picked that one up a few months ago and loved it, though I am wary about dropping the cash on the dlc. People seemed to enjoy it well enough, but some personal opinions here would be appreciated.
