See this all looks like a good idea on paper but I've pretty much given up on adaptations of anything from one entertainment medium to another. If I like something it's probably because it plays off of the strengths of the entertainment medium it utilises and when you try and translate it into another medium that doesn't have the same strengths, the whole thing falls apart unless you edit the work to a point where it's not really the original thing anymore, in which case it gets trapped in this weird limbo where it seems like it's trying to be two different things it can't quite be.

Nothing here makes sense.

I apologize if this seems like a huge list, but seeing this topic inspired me to think of every game I'd like to see turned into a movie.  Here we go: 

1. Dead Space-John Carpenter, Neil Blomkamp, D.J. Caruso (who was originally going to direct it) or Gore Verbinski are my choices.  
2. Mass Effect-James Cameron, or J.J. Abrams. 
3. Dragon Age-Peter Jackson.  He already made the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but I think he could make this one as epic as it needs to be. 
4. Fable-Terry Gilliam is a great choice, but I vote for Tim Burton.  His work on Big Fish shows that he can create visually imaginative films with a cute story. 
5. World of Warcraft-unless it changes, Sam Raimi is still on board.   
6. DMC-Uwe Boll. 
7. Just Cause-Uwe Boll.  
8. Bioshock-Gore Verbinski. 
9. Halo-Steven Spielberg .
10.  Gun- my vote goes for Quentin Tarantino. 
11. Star Wars Knights of the old Republic-George Lucas.  I really want this game to become the next Star Wars movie. 
12. Assassins' Creed-I'm not sure who could do a great job, but it needs to be someone who can make a movie that can combine Science Fiction, and historical adventure at the same time.   
13. The true director of Uncharted-Steven Spielberg, and make it very similar to the Indiana Jones films, yet make it contemporary at the same time.   
 
That's all I can think of for now.
 

i say michael bay makes every movie. it would be cool two characters shake hands *BOOOOOM* explosion. a guy shoots something boom explosion. it would be cool to see that man.
