What is the worst Final Fantasy 13 game

Interesting that you're looking for the worst, not the best...

Well, I wasn't reading right and accidentally chose 13. I didn't know you were looking for the worst!

Lightning Returns is the worst one, in my opinion. If it weren't for the combat, It would have been the first FF game I didn't finish.

Lightning Returns. Lame story, boring quests and some bad technical/graphical issues.

Lightning Returns. FF13-2 was surprisingly good actually.

I've only played the first two and found them okay, not very memorable. Can't say I'm going to spend time on the third. I know that 2 ends on a cliff-hanger but I'm sure the series has a happy ending if you play well enough that culminates in some reality warping, world changing event.

I haven't subjected myself to Lightning Returns yet, but of XIII and XIII-2, I disliked the first one a little bit less. They're both utterly lifeless and dull, and really only appealing from a mechanical standpoint, but at least the first had some narrative consistency unlike XIII-2's abysmally nonsensical plot and egregious abuse of time travel.

I didn't play the third, but the second was pretty tough to slog through. Wouldn't have made it if I didn't have the whole floor of my freshman dorm watching and laughing along with me.

Trick question. All of them.

Seriously though, it's a tough choice, but I might have to give it to XIII. It's one of the few games where I've literally fallen asleep while in the midst of playing. The only other two I can think of are probably FFXIV and Warframe, but those were due to sheer exhaustion from playing so much.

XIII on the other hand? Boredom. All I remember is mindlessly tapping A in the middle of a fight (because you don't have to fucking do anything else except Paradigm Shift once every blue moon) then waking up about an hour or two later at which point I just started laughing, took out the disc, and played something else.

Final Fantasy 13 is such a bad Final Fantasy that's it's not even the best Final Fantasy 13.

I didn't play Lightning Returns so I guess 13-2?

I like them all equally but gun to my head I'll choose FFXIII-2. Y'all are insane Lightning Returns is one of the best games of the year.

13-2 is the worst one.

Fairly certain that Lightning Returns can't be as bad as 13-2.

I actually thought XIII was okay. I don't know if I'd give it 4 stars, but 3 stars seems a bit low.

So I'm not going to call FFXIII an objectively "good" game.. but I legitimately got a lot of enjoyment out of it, despite its flaws. I liked that world and Sahz has a fucking chocobo in his afro.

So.

Final Fantasy 13, only because I couldn't bear to try out any of the other '13' games.

I guess XIII-2, but they're all great. This is such a weird poll.

I'd actually like to go back to 13, because some of the characters I kinda liked or was interested in (Sahz, Vanille, Fang, Cid), and the world seemed like it could get more interesting. Combat was good too. It also seems like the most grounded of the bunch. No interest in the rest.

Spoilers I guess, but this is what becomes of that little chocobo chick. :\
