I remember playing Donkey Kong Country for the SNES, beating King K. Rool only to watch fake credits roll on my screen, and have him get back up and kick my ass. So epic.

Oh man, I remember it VIVIDLY. Christmas morning, 1989, I'm 4, my parents have gotten me a Nintendo and I'm SO excited (even though I don't really know what it is). I put in Super Mario Bros, start the game up and run HEADLONG into that first Goomba (which I thought was an owl), killing me instantly.

Good times.

There was a math game called funnels and buckets. Not long after I discovered Kings Quest.
Most of my childhood was Sierra adventures and Zelda.

Giving my father 2 black eyes when playing Super Mario Bros on the NES... Basically I was too young to control my reactions, mario made me feel like I was actually moving... And well my father was too close and then my arm slammed him in the face... And then a week later it happened again lol.
