I'm really jonesing for a Demo Derby, Game Tapes, and Ranking of Fighters. I miss the sweet-science science.
What pre-pandemic GB show do you miss the most?
Ranking of Fighters was my favorite but I think it's dead now because the junior scientist has moved to a different research institution.
They'd have to start from the beginning with a new science team to be consistent. How can any new addition to the ranking be properly vetted by someone who doesn't understand Ten Count?
THAT'S NOT HOW SCIENCE WORKS!
I wish Jeff did more Encyclopedia Bombastica instead of just aimless Mister streams. I'm in the minority here on this but I just don't get much out of Jeff jumping from one Commodore game to the next for an hour. It was entertaining when he did those Bombastica episodes and let you know some cool info about a game, shared some anecdotes about his time with it, or some drama that happened behind the scenes. Generally speaking edited content is some of the best stuff GB ever does and it's a shame they do it so rarely.

Man if they really don't continue Ranking of Fighters when they get back to the office that might be the worst cancellation of a GB series
@bicycleham: Not to be too morbid or maudlin but the worst cancellation of a Giant Bomb series ever is clearly This Ain't No Game.
Every time a new video game movie is announced I think about it. We don't even get to hear about Dbox on the podcast anymore (not that we would have during the pandemic but still.)
And now I'm sad.
Game Tapes. The years and years of dumb industry knowledge the crew talk about during those is really fun.
Ranking of Fighters since I was getting into...y'know...sampling the goods and whatnot. That and Mailbag.
Game Tapes and Jeff Gerstmann's Pro Skater. I know they have done quite a few but I like the idea of them playing more skateboarding games that aren't just tony hawk. It be hilarious if they tried Turbo Super Stunt Squad, which I didn't even know it was a skateboarding game till I picked it up.
Ranking of Fighters is probably my favorite series they've ever done on the site so I'd say that one.
It's also one of the few shows I occasionally dip back into to watch.
TBH I think they've done a pretty good job doing stuff remotely. Playdates and Unprofessional Fridays were probably my fave content and we're still getting those (at least, recently, anyways). Bonus, I think we get more cross-coast stuff than before, too.
Mailbags are probably the one thing they can't do right now that I kinda miss.
Anything with them together in person. They've adjusted fairly well to doing things remotely, but there are plenty of bumps and breaks in the flow of any conversation that just don't happen as frequently when they're physically all their together.
Obviously that's not going to change anytime soon, but still.
I know it's not canceled but I miss UPF when they could be together and be silly together. Being remote leads to a lot of talking over each other and then just stopping, ruins a lot of moments that could be great
I'll second Encyclopedia Bombastica. I love the deep dive into retro games that can otherwise be quite impenetrable, and the personal recollections and stories.
I seem to remember Jeff once mentioning (maybe in a Jar Time video? There's another series I miss) that they were considering being open to community encyclopedia videos, and for a brief moment I was very excited to put my name in for an entry on Impossible Mission for C-64.
Random PC game - for me, the crew lineup was 90’s era Chicago Bulls. Where else can you slow fall up or be friends with the dragon?
Flight Club - Again, a dream team combo.
Pathfinder - really wish they continued that. Especially with that tease of the module Rorie had printed out. I appreciate and enjoy the Austin GM‘d holiday sessions, but Pathfinder/Sword and sorcery setting is comfort food.
The old Whiskey Media variety show. That is pre pandemic, too.
Crazy Freights - even if we get a reboot, I really enjoyed Abby and Vinny content And this was peak Abby and Vinny content.
The thing I miss the most is probably Blue Bombin'. It's not so much that specific feature, I just miss Alex trying to focus so hard and also talk while everyone ignores him. Classic.
I would like to see more full playthroughs of games on features like Playdates and such. I fell off the Resident Evil remakes pretty early, and I never liked RE 4, but watching Abby play those was awesome.
But the real answer is Demo Derby. Especially once Jeff started being on those, the combination of nostalgia and his industry knowledge is one of the best things ever on the site!
Random pc game/FMVinny

Rof ran for 1 1/2 years before Ben even started, I don't see why it can't continue if/when they have an office again.
