Apparently they are GRUMPY!
What should you do if you find an Atheist?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Avoidance is generally a good idea. Atheists can be downright surly whenever that bear is poked (god, religion, hereafter, I mean).
I'd post about it on a video game forum. Cus clearly a video game forum is the place for such discussion.
@thatdutchguy: Yes, why?
they want you to avoid people like this
Oh man, that dude is gross.
I've met some nice Agnostic people, here and there. But no, never an Atheist I suppose.
I'm sure they make nice brownies.
@thatdutchguy: Yes, why?
Just curious.
Atheists are mad because they know magic isn't real and the world is broken and full of fucked up people and there is no god who can fix it nor nothing any of us can do to fix it so the only reasonable thing you can do is kill yourself it doesn't matter there is no hell anyway so that bullshit about killing yourself being a sin is just that, bullshit, so come on, follow me to the orchard tree and drink this juice we'll do it together children!

Overbearing atheists are pretty insufferable. Then again, so are the overbearing christians. All of 'em just need to stop casting aspersions on each other.

Wow, that guy seems like a real piece of shit

At least we get premarital sex.
Hmm, I admit (as an atheist) that the most joyous people I've met have been religious. They may be onto something here. I sometimes wish I could live in blissful ignorance, never pausing for a moment to question... but I've found it impossible each time I've tried. (twice)
Right? I really wish I could be like that sometimes, there are a lot of religious people I know who just love life and brighten up the lives of everyone else's around them, and I really don't know how they do it. But I feel like after a point, you just know too much to be religious and there's no turning back. Read one holy book as a kid, you can become religious easily. Read all of them as a rebellious teenager, you're pretty much guaranteed to become an atheist. So basically now I'm a grumpy atheist, but every once in a while, I get my spiritual kicks with the help of marijuana and various hallucinogens, and that's good enough for me.
Lots of people believe lots of things. Telling someone their beliefs are wrong is rude. I recommend "do not be rude".
But I believe that one should always be rude. Hmm.
Well, there's nothing else for it. You hire some thugs, I'll hire some thugs and let's see where we are in 2,000 years!
As an atheist myself, I was prepared to be offended and was already thinking of a heated reply to this pamphlet. But after reading it completely, I gotta say that description is pretty much dead on.
And if christians are going to start teaching children to avoid us atheists, I think I can find it in my black, faithless heart to tolerate these people.
This is progress.

I get more joy from the part where we lead Christian children astray and convince them to kill themselves, personally. But to each atheist his own!
If a religious person thinks they're going to persuade me into following their belief system and are weary of anyone who thinks differently than them, then yes, I am going to be "grumpy".
Edit: Oh, it's Mr. Gruff the goat. Unless this is an even more hilarious coincidence, it's fake.
I dunno... don't bring up religion and you'll be fine? For the record though if you have a problem with with other people believe or how they live their life your a sad idiot. Sorry. And that kind of logic isn't too far removed from the same logic that a lot of people use to justify their homophobic or racist tendencies. Ewww.. that person is different than me that bothers me. Fucking grow up.
Hell I'm an atheist and I avoid conversations about religion with atheists
PS what @demoskinos said. Just because we don't have religion doesn't mean we can't have morals, and humility is a pretty good moral to follow.
@pezen: It pauses the action and allows you to decide on specific limbs to target in combat, but only lasts while you still have Action Points.
You atheists and Christians are real knuckle heads ! :P. on a serious topic this should get locked before things get way outta control.
Apparently they are GRUMPY!
...and also goats. So stay away from goats and all will be fine children.
Seeing stuff like this makes me sad :( This is totally not loving your neighbor.
That was very nicely worded.
I would think that most atheists aren't vile bastards who are going to attempt to undermine your faith to your children, just like I would hope that most Christians wouldn't start talking about how Jesus Christ is the son of God if their son or daughter had a Jewish friend over to visit.
On one hand, I've been happier since becoming an atheist than I ever was when I was religious, so lol at the "grumpy goat" description.
On the other, they're kinda right. Not on the "OH NO, AN ATHEIST! ROUND UP THE BIBLES, THERE'S A STORM A BREWIN'!" front, but too many fellow atheists are more obsessed with religion and belief conversion than even the most hardcore holy rollers I've met, and are just as insufferable.
It blows my mind that we can't just accept that some people find happiness and purpose in religion, and some don't. There are great people on both ends, and shitty people as well. Beliefs or lack thereof are just the tool; these people will be great or shitty with or without.
Edit: Whoops, it's a parody. Damn your laws, Poe!
Shit, is that real?
No, that whole thing was a joke. This is basically Poe's Law in action.
Science is pretty cool.
As a Christian, I agree 100%. Science is freakin' awesome.
@shagge: Yup i know Some top notch people weather they be Atheists, Christians, Muslims, Sikh, Jewish . There are great people all around !

Wow, that's really shitty. Basically, this is just making religious people look bad, and there's no truth to it. I would have no problem with this thread if that were a real flyer, but seeing as it's all fake I've just flagged this thread.
Thanks for clearing that up, though.
