Watching the Toy Story quick look got me thinking about the Pizza Planet place in the first movie.  What was more fun than Pizza and getting tickets and prizes. This reminded me of a place near my house that used to be the location of a bunch of kids pizza parties: Funtime Pizza.  For a long time it used to be an arcade only called Gamezone until they started to do the pizza side and changed the name.  This place was awesome not only because a buddy and I could play Time Crisis or Jurassic park and waste our tokens, but there was a go-kart and mini-golf place right next to the arcade, so the day always involved a little mini-golf then some games.

So what was your Pizza Planet when you were a kid?

Usually it was the Chuck E. Cheese's 15 min away from my house. That was back in the day when Chuck E's was still a decent place for little kids, not littered with hoodlums & such. Awesome games, good pizza (ok, well not horrible pizza), tokens & tickets & stupid songs by the animatronic band. Good times.

Celebration Station. It was a 2 story arcade filled with arcade games, air hockey tables, and a pretty gigantic maze like obstacle for kids to play in. There was a go kart track in the back as well. The place was pretty much a chuck e cheese on steroids.

It's gone downhill recently with a bunch of pirate themed laser tag crap, but the pizza's still good.

Shakey's Pizza
The Mojos alone are enough but throw in the pizza and chicken plus arcade games...makes me wish I was back in California.

That's a real thing? I thought it was nothing more than what would happen if you threw a bunch of aborted fetuses into a huge pile. Also, I can't remember the name of my Pizza Planet, but I remember it existing.

Don't have one; the closest thing to it was Dave and Buster's.

Sorry, meant to say "didn't;" I'm kind of a Grammar Nazi, and mixing up past and present tenses makes me mad. :)

Didn't really have a "Pizza Planet," but there was a place in town called Godfather's Pizza which had a Metal Slug machine... Good times... Does that count?

Showbiz Pizza
That's right, before they bough Chuck E. Cheese, then decided that was the better name to unify their restaurants under.
Back when they still had a ton of arcade machines, and it wasn't all just about winning tickets to buy prizes.
Billy Bob's band was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Uh oh Trilogy are you in Clearwater?  I've seen that place before!

We had a place called Kartworld that was pretty damn fantastic; nice big arcade with a go kart track in the back.  I cut my teeth on some Marvel Super Heroes there.

Back in the 80s, the place to go for birthday parties in my area was called Top Dog. 39 cent hot dogs, skee ball, pinball, and arcade games... oh and they had pizza, too.

And now it's been replaced with a Japanese restaurant.

I was in Disneyland in Paris a few years ago...

AND THE FUCKING PIZZA PLANET WAS CLOSED!
FUCK YOU DISNEY!

Anyway, I just order pizza from time to time at a place called TelePizza and then there's that Italian place called Pizza Marco near our school we visited regularly...
