If Medal of Honor is a very good game its' sequel may be in with a chance of outselling the next CoD game but Black Ops is going to win this round by miles.
I'd be surprised if the last Medal of Honor game sold half as much as Modern Warfare 2 did. Black Ops is the first time I've been legitimately excited for a Treyarch Call of Duty title. My how the times have changed...
Yup; , I'll probably even say 3.5 or maybe even 4-1 in worldwide figures. Basically anyone who's what I'd like to call a Call of Duty drone is preordering or eagerly awaiting Black Ops. It will be the biggest game of the holidays no question.
Without a doubt Black Ops. I believe that currently there are already more preorders for it than there were for MW2. I think that Medal of Honor will compete against it in the same way that BFBC2 competed with MW2, a good fight but far from a victory or even a tie in terms of sales.
After the brutal thrashing that Ice-T game to the MoH beta is there any hope that MoH will sell any copies? How can it compete with a game that is "SuperDope"! My outlook is that DICE goes bankrupt and they sell their IP to Carbon Neutral Games.
Also: There's a knife that shoots knives?! You don't compete with that you turn your game into something else to save face.
black ops is going to win. maybe the next medal of honor game might win but still. i think there is going to be another medal of honor game. i just find it weird that EA is making medal of honor. they just launched bad company games. they have pretty much the same game just different names.
I think I am with everyone else that thinks Black Ops will beat Medal of Honor (2010) . Both games look good and I think I'm leaning towards Medal of Honor myself but there are just to many fans of the CoD series that it won't be passed up :P
Call of Duty: Black Ops. I feel the controversy surrounding Medal of Honor with the whole playing as the Taliban thing might hurt sales in the US as well as here in Australia since recently Australian soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan. Also I feel the Call of Duty brand is bigger then the Medal of Honor brand since the last console MoH game was Airborne and there have been 3 CoD games since then.
yeah black ops will kill MoH 3-1 like everyone says, I think MoH just needs to come up the hard way like killzone the first game was decent at best and ever since then it turned into a stand up shooter. So i think the same will happen for MoH they will put out a decent game and learn a lot then the next game will be more of a threat.
Medal of Honor could come with a $10,000 check in the box, and it would still be outsold by a massive margin by Black Ops. Want to know why? Three words: Call, of, and Duty. Anything with that title is going to sell like hotcakes.
